The IFL just posted an official press release announcing their new MMA promotion.
If you read my site at all or keep up with the MMA world, you are already familiar with the IFL and their recent court struggles with the UFC’s parent company, Zuffa LLC. I’m glad to see they are still charging forward and pursuing their new MMA events.
** UPDATE **
Cindy Ortiz from mmafighting.com just made a post at Sherdog.com where she lists the first four team names and coaches for the IFL’s first show.
According to the post, the first show will be April 29 at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City, NJ. Pat Miletich, Renzo Gracie, and Bas Rutten are listed as three of the coaches with the fourth coach listed as TBD. There is also a link to TicketMaster.com where you can purchase tickets.
