The UFC has officially released the fight schedule for their August 17 Ultimate Fight Night 6 event to be held in Las Vegas. This card looks like it should be a decent event (hey, if its on free TV who can complain?).
The main even will feature Diego Sanchez vs. Karo Parisyan. I’m really looking forward to watching this fight as it will put two excellent grapplers against each other. If you remember back, Karo was scheduled to fight Matt Hughes for the Middleweight title a few months ago but had to pull out due to injury. Since then, the UFC seems to have passed him by and now he is looking to climb back up the ranks. Diego looks to improve his record and continue his march up the contender list and prove his critics wrong.
A few other interesting fights in my mind will be Josh Koscheck vs. Jonathan Goulet, Jason von Flue vs. Joe Riggs, and how well Chris Leben does against Jorge Santiago after his recent, devastating loss to Anderson Silva.
