What has generally been assumed has finally been made official. Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell will have their rematch at UFC 66 on December 30. The announcement was made tonight at the weigh-ins for tomorrow nights UFC 63.
During a meet-and-greet autograph session prior to the UFC 63 weigh-ins on Friday afternoon in Anaheim, California, Tito Ortiz made an appearance in front of everyone in attendance and had an announcement to make.
Ortiz said that he had just been approached by someone from the UFC and had been told, “We know you have a fight coming up in a couple of weeks [against Ken Shamrock on October 10th], but I wanted to give you this now.” Ortiz said that he was given a contract to fight Chuck Liddell on December 30th at UFC 66.
At that point, Ortiz flashed the contract to the crowd, with his signature already on it. The rematch between Liddell and Ortiz is now officially signed for December 30th, apparently regardless of the outcome of Ortiz’ upcoming fight against Ken Shamrock on Spike TV on October 10th.
The rematch will be interesting to see, tito didnt want to fight him initially saying cuz they were friends or whatever while Chuck has always said they were just acquaintances. I think tito was afraid to fight him then, and hes probably afraid to fight him now.
My ju jit su buddy has always said the only reason why liddell has his “freakish” ability to stand up after the takedown, is because hes near the fence. If he gets taken down in the middle of the octagon he can be defeated, so titos pattented slide him over to the fence tactics could be counter productive in this case. I was watching some old liddell fights and i noticed the same thing too, look out for this in the fight people, its sure to be a factor, im just wondering if tito knows that hehehe.
Why do people always try to bumrush Chuck? he knocks most of his opponents out while moving backward..
oh and the shamrock thing? shammy has a punchers chance at beating tito, considering he probably wont connect more than a few shots, i dont think it will bother tito much in his upcoming fight with liddell.
Ortiz is going to get smashed.
This is the one I’ve been waiting for. I have to say I am wanting Tito to take this fight. He got beat the first fight by the fury of punches Chuck delivered as he had Tito up against the cage. I don’t know how much water this holds, but watch Super Saturday UFC 51 where Vitor Belfort had Tito in the excact situation and Tito weathered the same fury of punches. It also appeared as if Tito caught a finger in the eye that’s when Chuck went in after him. But, I am not making any excuses for the way the fight turned out, but it would make me happy to see Tito stop Liddell.
Tito will win. That’s all I need to say. Mark my words, Tito Ortiz will take it all back and do so by beating Chuck Liddell.
chuck lidell is goin to kick tito’s *** just like the first time he took his belt..
Chuck did not take Tito’s belt , Randy took Tito’s belt. Even though I do agree that Chuck will win the rematch , I can tell you that Tito is more focused right now then i have ever seen him before. So with that said , I belive that Tito has a good chance to win it and only time will tell.
Chuck is a better fighter than Tito, no doubt about it. Tito is stronger. Relentlessness Vs Strength, Skill Vs Talent. I like Liddell’s Odds. If Tito would focus more on developing his Skills he would be unbeatable. He has the perfect physique for this sport no doubt about it. TAKE THE ADVICE TITO PERFECT JU JIT SU
First of all, I think Chuck is the better fighter. He has near-perfect takedown defense and striking skills combined with raw animalistic power. I see Chuck winning this fight in decisive fashion. Furthermore, it is my personal opinion that Tito Ortiz behaves himself in a way that is unbecoming of a grown man, much less a grown man idolised by so many young people. His crass victory T-shirts with trite slogans are downright rude and unsportsmanlike, as are his theatrics which unfortunately, he seems intent on selling to his disciples (see Kendal Grove’s victory pantomime at Ortiz-Shamrock III). Showing emotion after a victory is great, but all the talking, strutting and mocking he does before and after fights is just immaturity. I would not tolerate such behaviour from my teenaged son, let alone a 31 year-old man. It is unfortunate that such a gifted athlete sets such a poor example for our impressionable youth.
All a h0mie has 2 say iz that Chuck Liddell’z gonna remain the LHW champion until he decides to end his career. I don’t see NO ONE beating him the way he’s fighting now
While I might agree with the last post, I would like to see Tito win the fight in December. Chuck is the one fighter that has the approach of “If its not broke…don’t fix it” The last 4 fights have been knockouts of the variety that benefits Chuck. Jeremy Horn just took a little more punishment because he was successful in avoiding a big enough shot to keep him down (orbital bone crack notwithstanding!). I feel that if Tito has the chance to close the gap and get Chuck down and keep him down (Ala Randy in their first fight) he should have more of an advantage in the fight.
I really don’t think anyone will argue who has the better stand-up in this fight so to stand and try to trade with Chuck is asking to either be put to sleep or beaten down. I look forward to this fight as much as the fight that comes a month before….. Hughes - St. Pierre.
December: Ortiz - TKO 4th round -or- Chuck 2nd Round KO
yup i agree with babalu32 on this one. The only thing i want to add is if tito manages to get him down, he cant move him against the fence like he usually does. Chuck against the fence, will explode, and buck and roll and he WILL stand back up. Tito need to get him down in the middle of the octagon and punish him, if he does that, i think he will win the fight.
Tito has the skills needed to finish Chuck on the ground in the middle of the octagon. Look at the beating he gave to Forrest in the first round of their fight. That was well away from the fence. The only reason he couldnt finish him in the following rounds was because of his knee injury. His shot was terrible after the first round. Plus Forrest just gets more confident after he takes a beating like that, but I dont think Chuck has that kind of mentality.
tito will dominate ‘cuz hes the man and works hard at it. chucks dayz are numbered……. chucks style is the same over and over again knock you out w/ punches nothing else . so sooner or later fighters are gonna catch up to his style and learn, then itll be all over for chuck , cuz he really has nothing else but a punch. tito will dominate chuck this dec. thats all i have to say
You can’t really blame Chuck for that. If you have a style or technique that you are good at to keep your opponents off balance, you will use it until it no longer works. I like Chuck but I mostly want to see Tito win the LHW Championship. I figure in order for that to happen, Chuck may have to evolve and maybe be forced into a grappling match instead of the standing knockout for which he would prefer. Just reading and writing about this makes me wish the fight was this weekend!
Tito is gonna get knocked the **** out!
Tito is still scared of chuck…Tito will get whooped up. Chuck will f*^k him up!!! forest will win against tito next time they fight too :). I think forest and chuck will be a good fight, forest likes to be beat up and chuck likes to do the beating..LOL
I think Titos days are numbered once he gets AIDS from his porno girl friend he will not be able to fight in the UFC
lol mike your a joker. Jennas hot an everything.. but dam! thats nasty, i wouldnt touch that thing.. real talk.
I dont know if Tito is still scared of Chuck. Hes been a changed fighter since his comeback, it seems like he has some true confidence now. But I think the key is his hunger to get the belt back, he really wants the fight with Chuck now. Chuck knew he was scared last time which made him super confident, but now that Tito is lloking for him…..I dont Chuck will have that mental edge this time.
I’m anticipating this fight more and more everyday. The countdown is on 65 days left.
Tito Ortiz has my respect as a fighter because he beat the likes of respected fighters like Forrest Griffin, Vitor Belfort, Wanderlei Silva, Guy Mezger, and a UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock. Which he beat Shamrock all 3 times they met.
As for Tito’s character I do not respect him beacuse of the way he treats his opponents. Making obscene T-Shirt with sayings like:
Guy Mezger - “*** Mezger Is My *****”
Wanderlei Silva - “I Just Killed The Axe Murderer”
Vitor Belfort - “Bring Home Our Troops!”
Forrest Griffin - “With Great Sacrifice Comes Great Rewards”
Ken Shamrock:
“I Just Killed Kenny, You *******”(although it was never worn)
“If you fight Tito Ortiz You Lose”
“Punishing Him Into Retirement”
One word “Sickening”. A sorry display of sportsmanship
And now for my main man Chuck Liddell. As he is my favorite fighter in the octagon and in my humble opinion the greatest LHW in the biz. I find it very hard for “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” to beat “The Iceman” come December 30th.
tito will dominate ‘cuz hes the man and works hard at it. chucks dayz are numbered……. chucks style is the same over and over again knock you out w/ punches nothing else . so sooner or later fighters are gonna catch up to his style and learn, then itll be all over for chuck , cuz he really has nothing else but a punch. tito will dominate chuck this dec. thats all i have to say
Chuck practices wrestling three days a week, as well as Bjj three days a week. he is a purple belt in bjj. to say thathe is one dimentional shows that you are not a true fan.
I love how people are talking all this trash about Tito because of his antics in and out of the ring. I will give all of you two words that should show you that he isn’t the first athlete to do such things. MUHAMMAD ALI…..Anyone remember him. He did the same thing 30 + years ago and he was nominated for athlete of the milennium. It’s all about showmanship….good or bad. That is what sells the tickets. Not to mention that Tito is one of the MAIN reasons the UFC is so big now. If you aren’t a true fan of MMA and truly understand everything that goes into it…….please stop writing. As for the fight. Chuch has everything going in his favor right now. But I think Tito has the old hunger back and being such a emotional fighter, (if he sticks to HIS gameplan and not Chucks’) he will win the fight.
titos gonna deflate
LIDDELLS IS GOOD…BUT TITOS BETTER…WHAT HAPPENDS WHEN THE FIGHT GOES TO THE GROUND….LIDDELLS GONNA GET **** KICKED ….
AND FOR THE PERSON WHO SAID LIDDELLS NOT GOING TO BE STOPPED ….IF TITO DOESNT DO IT…WANDERLEI SILVA OF PRIDE ABSOLUTELY WILL
I like Tito, antics and all. He has some mean elbows and his BJJ is pretty good. I believe if Tito takes Chuck down in round 1 he will have to finish him right there. If Chuck gets to stand in round 2, Tito may be in trouble. Chuck definately holds the advantage in stand-up. Tito claims he will push the pace and work Chucks Cardio. Again, that tells me if Tito smokes himself in the 1st round he becomes an easy target for a KO punch by Chuck. I’m excited to see the fight, bought my tickets on the pre-sale and looking forward to seeing Andrei again.
first of all, i believe chuck’s cardio is not going to be a factor in the ufc (put him in pride and i will admit it would be a different story altogether), unless it is rediculously fast paced, in which case chuck would (in my eyes) surely take it. second, i’ve heard people say ‘well if tito could take w. silva, than he’ll take chuck’ (silva beat rampage, liddell didn’t). that is never the case. history proves it. third, tito fears chuck, although his image, ego, and career could never admit it in the limelight. i think liddell will take this victory, as much as i would love to be proved wrong, i just don’t see ortiz coming out on top, not this time. i will be looking forward to seeing liddell vs. ortiz 3.
I’m a fan of tito. Having said that, I doubt that he can beat chuck. I hope tito realise that chuck can be taken down and will stay down if tito don’t put him near the fence. Chuck uses the fence to get up. Also, chuck tend to get up (in the middle of the ring) by giving up his back. Tito should really not forget a rear naked choke on that! A lot of fighters, due to the fact that chuck has good take down defence, decided to stand with chuck. That’s a big mistake! You want to beat a fighter by bringing them into what you do best, NOT by fighting their game. If tito can’t keep chuck down and decide to stand with chuck, he should fight like chuck and that is ‘counter attack’ instead to being the aggressor. Counter fight is what chuck does and is how chuck keeps his title. Only problem with that is it will be a boring fight.
I don’t see cardio being an issue here for both men. Also, tito should watch for chuck’s uppercut or knee while shooting.
I will root for tito eventhough I see chuck as coming up on top. Tito needs to finish off chuck in the first 2 round otherwise it’s over for him. If it ever come to decision, chuck will win. Chuck could also knock out tito in any round. Prediction, chuck wins 2:1
yup, i agree with everything mma said, especially about the fence thing, im sure this will be a factor in this fight. I think the problem with alot of fighters these days is that theyre becoming too defensive. For everyone that watched the TUF 4 finale on saturday, regarding the chris lytle vs matt serra fight, chris could have won that fight easily in my opinion, but he was giving serra too much credit, he worked the takedown defense great, but thats about all he did. Whenever chris would attack, serra would lose confidence, but he didnt put the pressure on him. Its not enough to have the great takedown defense if your not gonna let your hands go. Its been called the loiseau syndrome by some, wtf are you waiting for?? you have to take some chances, defense is nothing without offense, because eventually you will lose the decision. Tho it was controversial, it didnt have to be, matt serra was giving it 100%, he was throwing everything but the kitchen sink at chris, but chris didnt seem to want the fight enough, unlike what he said. maybe thats why serra got the decision, tiny little guy, but he went all out.
Chuck Will be winning this second battle against Tito. Tito may have gotten better at sticking the jab, but he still has no real power. Definately no knock out power. Chuck has THE BEST takedown defense in the game and there’s no doubt about it. Chuck may not be changing his game but he’s always making his game better and better. Look at his record since gaining the belt if you have any doubts. Chuck clobbered “The Natural” the last two times they met! And Randy is a super version of Tito. Tito has one game, ground and pound. That game just isn’t enough to stop the Light Heavyweight Champ!! Any and all poster who claim that Tito has a chance are obviusly fans of Tito and not fans of MMA. All you have to do is look at the fighters, look at their last 4 fights and think seriously…not like a fan. Tito’s last two real wins were against Shamrock. Those are not real wins…he beat up an old man twice. Let’s not forget that Forrest won the fight against Tito. The judges were obviously looking to make sure tito would win that fight since this was the first UFC to come to Cali and Cali is where Tito is from. Doubters need to watch that fight. The first round went to Tito and he never got a takedown again until the end of the 3rd round…AND GRIFFIN STOOD THEM BACK UP!!!!!!!!! That by definition negates the takedown!!! Griffin owned the second round and definately should’ve got the decision on the third!!! Chuck Liddell will be the victor come UFC 66…Anyone who thinks different needs to do their homework.
You can like MMA and you can like a fighter. If you like a fighter (Tito) then you will exploit his chances of winning the fight . I admit Chuck’s a tough guy with great KO power but how many fighters have you seen like that (as a fan of MMA) tapping to an arm bar or rear naked? I have seen some great strikers tap out. Tito is definately a ground and pound guy but If Chuck gives up his back or is lazy in a guard, Tito has the ability to submit him. I believe Tito will fight his game and attempt to take chuck down. He is determined and hungry. A bad combination if you have to fight someone. Look for a great fight but every dog has it’s day and just because you’re the best, don’t mean you can’t lose.
I just want to say that im realy looking forward to UFC 66 and that its gona be “PAY BACK TIME” Chuck’s days r numbered, dont get me wrong hes a great fighter, but Tito Ortiz is hungry and he wants his belt back! The blue print is there of how to “Kill Chuck” set by Randy Cotour in the first fight between them! Tito has supirior wrestling ability and must use this stratigy to conqure Liddell ! That is Tito Ortiz’s strength “Ground and Pound”. Also the key is that Tito gets the take down in the centre of the Octogon as Liddell use’s the cage to get up! He must do this to win, cuz trading punches with Chuck is not a great Idear ! Haveing said that I do belief that Tito will have his hand raised at the end of the fight, due to the fact that he has the will and desire to “Kick the Ice Man’s ***” and gain his redemption and Respect ! Tito Ortiz will win ! Eye of the Tiger !
i heard tito is just a really tough woman.
hay “Hotpap” . . . maybe you just fancy Tito! we know you like big muscley women ! how ja like that *****!
whats ya girlfriend look like ? . . . the Incredible Hulk !!!!
sorry, didnt know you had a crush on her.
Whatever Man! or shud I say Woman ?
Did anybody see Matt Hughes get his *** kicked the other night by G.S.P ! I loved it, Matt Hughes is just a stuck up arrogant Jock who had it comeing Man! Long Live G.S.P ! New UFC WelterWeight Champ. Yeahh !
I THNK THAT TITO IS GONNA GET HIS *#* KICKED. TITO IS SCARED AND IS TRYING TO PUT UP A FRONT. HE KNOWS AS WELL AS CHUCK THAT HE IS GONNA LOSE.
Tito is not scared. GSP did what everyone thought could not be done (beat Hughes) so, with that said, I would not overlook Tito. Chuck is mighty confident, but so was Hughes. Just when you think no one can beat you, you not only lose but get stomped. People once said Gracie, Shamrock and Coleman couldn’t be beat. Look at them now. I’m open minded about the fight. I want Tito to win and will be routing for him in section 3M Row K, but I cannot say he will definately win or that Chuck is so dominant that he can’t be beat. Expect a good fight. on another note… I’m so glad that Hughes got his butt kicked. now just get rid of Silvia and we’re good.
WELL I CAN AGREE WITH YOU ON MATT’S LOSS. AND ALSO GETTING RID OF SILVA.
Well you are damn right Sylvia should go. If I’m sylvia, I’ll quit myself for being such a disgrace. He is the worst champion in ufc, ever. He can’t even carry a pay-per-view fight. But guess what, we should all sympathize to sylvia’s position because if he fights elsewhere, he will be KILLED!! He has to earn a living, so ufc heavyweight division is his best hope for staying alive while doing his job. He claims he showed the world that he has ground game… what ground game? They were both in 69 position and did nothing! Anybody can hug!
GSP rules! I like GSP and I think he will be champion for a long time. Apart from serra, I think GSP’s first few title defence will be hard. I don’t want to dismiss serra but GSP is another class for serra. Diego sanchez is very talented and it will be very interesting to see them getting it on. I’m sure BJ Penn will want another go at GSP. He was actually a better fighter than GSP until he ran out of gas after first round. I think his gas tank is improving as you can see a slimmer version of BJ in his fight with hughes. As for hughes, he was the greatest champ ufc has ever had. Every dog has its day. U can’t stay on top forever. I think we should give hughes a break. He was great! I won’t put my hope up if he ever try to challenge GSP again.
Tito! That will be what I will be chanting if I watch the match. I’m sure Dana white wants tito to win deep down inside. Tito is a much more exciting ufc representative than chuck. Imagine all tito’s fight are sold out (whether he is the main event or not) and u can’t say the same about the other guys. I just hope tito means it when he said he is looking for a take down when he fights chuck because God knows that is his only way to beat chuck.
Between tito and chuck, they are actually equivalent in their game as chuck’s stand up is like tito’s ground game and vice versa. So whoever able to impose their game on the other will come out victorious.
Tito will break Chuck ! Fire always melts ice ! ssssssssss
Matt hughes is definately the best pound for pound welter in the biz..if you saw that fight what beat him was over confidence. Who the hell says good job and smiles at the guy that punches him in the face during the title match…did anyone see the high five Hughes gave GSP GAAAH!!! It turned my stomach…Hughes was a great Champ and he defended his title well up until the underestimation of GSP. I foresee a tune up fight, then a Rematch where Hughes will due what Hughes does best. He just needed to be humbled as all great men must be After reigning supreme for such a long time. Tito cannot beat Chuck. Randy Couture couldn’t keep chuck on the floor what the hell makes any MMA fan think tito could. His jab have gotten nice and crisp…but no power. Tito couldn’t knock out my 6 year old niece. I see Chuck keeping the fight standing and TKOing or KOing Tito..Tito needs to go to Pride where they keep all the has beens.
Oh yeah, Sylvia does suck ***! How the hell did he beat Arlovsky!?!? TWICE! The Future of the Heavyweight division is Brandon the Truth Vera….that bad boy will reign supreme!!!
ARLOVSKI WILL COME BACK AND HOPEFULLY WILL GET A CHANCE TO BEAT SILVIA DOWN. HE SHOULD NOT HAVE WON THE LAST FIGHT. THE REF STOPPED IT TOO EARLY. ARLOVSKI ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Speaking of how lame it is to congratulate another fighter (during a fight) for a good shot, Like Hughes did to GSP. Did you watch the Arlovski/Silvia II fight ; it was like a sparing match. It made me sick. Tito says it best, disrespect them and hate them. I can’t imagine fighting your heart out against a guy you respect (fear), admire, or feel the need to congratulate after punching you in the face.
I do belief Tito can beat chuck cuz Tito is hungry and bader and stronger than ever ! did u see the way tito man handeled Ken Shamrock in there last fight that Dude is one strong S.O.B. Man. and Ken is not a small guy! also Randy Couture beat Chuck the first time they met ! useing” Ground and Pound” its true that Chuck did beat Randy twice by K.O. but you have to remember that Randy was much older when he fought Chuck the last 2 times ! and was out of shape compared to what he was in the first fight ! also when Chuck and Tito first fought Chuck poked Tito in the eye ! then Took advantage and Knocked Tito out . . . This time it will be Different, No eye pokeing ! Just plane and simple ! by giveing Chuck a “Tito Ortiz Hard Beat Down ! and thats the Bottom line ! Aarrr Yes also Arlovski will rule again !
You can almost predict a fight by looking and study the eyes of the fighter when they walk into the cage.
Matt Hughes is a great fighter. But if you look into his eyes, he looked different. He almost look like he wasn’t sure he can beat GSP when he walked into the octagon. He was different compare to his other matches.
Look at Randy Couture, when he came in to fight Chuck the last 2 times, he doesn’t look fit. He almost look a bit emaciated and tired.
Same thing, look at Rich Franklin against Anderson Silva. Rich looked fatigued.
Look at every clips you have on tito when he is talking about his match with chuck, u see no life behind all his words against his fight with chuck. It’s almost as if he rehearsed what he said. He spoke words of confidence but it feels empty. I’m a fan of tito and I really want him to win. Let just say I will cheer for tito but put my money on chuck.
Psychoanalysis……
i put my money on chuck plain and simple hes going to spwral and then knock him out
what is wrong with you ignorant mma fans???????????
chuck liddell is the most one deminshinal fighter that has ever been
champ besides tim sylvia. What does he have on tito???
standup- liddell
wrestling- ortiz
grappling- ortiz
gnp- ortiz
strength (not punching power)- ortiz
speed- ortiz
on back- ortiz
cardio- ortiz
the only thing that can save liddell is if his takedown defense(which ill admit is the best ive ever seen!!!!!!!!!!) is sharp and he happens to catch tito. But what is liddell gonna do when tito neutralizes him on his feet and presses the fight not allowing liddell too create angles and set his distance and in the mean while tito is looking to shoot, use speed and strength to plant chuck on his back in guard. The last time someone has tried that game plan against chuck was coutoure in there first match. And i remember coutoure pounding chucks face and dominating the entire match. And now not too mention tito has a quicker shoot than coutoure and the best gnp in guard in the history of mma!!!!!!!! im not on titos nuts but he beats chuck fairly easily just like coutoure did.
Hear ,Hear I totaly agree, Chuck was lucky last time ! but luck does not last forever ! This fight will Rock the MMA World ! U Mark my Words .
I don’t think chuck was lucky. I think Tito went in with a poor plan. He wanted to prove to everyone that he could stand with Chuck. He played Chuck’s game. He took away his best skills and ended up losing the fight by chosing to keep the fight on it’s feet. Tito learned a lot and now doesn’t care about proving anything. All he wants is the “W” and the belt. He will now use his skills and should dominate on the ground.
If tito doesn’t get knocked out in the first 2 rounds he’ll win chuck wont last as long as tito in a 5 round fight
does anybody know what happened to the fight between Chuck and Wanderlei Silva (SP) I was under the impression that they were suppose to fight in December and then Tito came into the picture and now I don’t here anything about silva. I know that Dana wants Tito to fight because he brings big bucks but I was really looking forward to that fight. Anyone know…?
the answer to ur question mark is on here mark just look for it it also has a sick video of silva getting knocked out sorry i cant tell u exactly were its a sorry
i guess because mirko cro cop knocked silva out dana white is keeping the liddell/silva fight from happening for some reason. since it didnt happen in dec they were thinking about having it in feb, but i think that silva’s last fight had somthing to do with it (ufc is being vaugue with this whole thing), im not quite sure. silva has already called chuck out to pride if the ufc keeps this fight from happening, and i think chuck’s first priority in pride is a rematch with quinton jackson. this should get interesting. if you want to see the silva/crocop fight, check out dailymotion.com there are some good fights on that site.
i dont care about a silva vs liddell fight, it aint gonna happen anyway, i wanna see shogun take on liddell. both are great standup fighters. shogun will be the next wandi anyways and plans to fight in heavier wieght divisions in the future. im a big fan of liddell but i think his standup defense is less than admirable, he leaves himself open to get his power strikes in. liddell will no doubt take the ortiz fight. but i think that the ufc isnt enough for chuck. he should retire fighting in pride. that would be a different story altogether.
Mark was absolutely right that tito went in with a poor game plan the first time. He wanted to beat liddell at its own game then. Bad idea.
This time tito only wants to win. He plans to take down chuck. Chuck take down defence is overated. His ground game has never been tested. If tito don’t just use gnp but also submission, he should catch chuck while chuck tries to get up.
But even if tito has better cardio, take down takes a lot of energy. Let just hope he has enough to keep it going as chuck do have good sprawl, angling, and uppercut.
Did u guys notice chuck keep baiting tito into fighting his game by saying tito has to prove he can stand with him? What a *****! By the way, the mohawk, if look from top, looks like chick pubes.
Nobody really knows what happen to chuck/silva fight. Dana excuse is silva lost to cro cop. I’m sure there is more going on. Eg. where should that match take place and what rules to use since ufc and pride has some differences in their rules.
Tito should have improved take down as he is training with matt hamill who is supposely able to take tito down with ease. May be he will learn a few new moves. Also remember in chuck/tito first fight, chuck is familiar with tito’s take down due to training together for a long time. Tito could also improves his take down by getting couture involved in his training.
YOU ARE SO RIGHT MMA5! LIDDELL KEEPS TRYING TO BAIT TITO INTO FIGHTING HIS FIGHT, AGAIN. LIDDELL KNOWS TITO’S GONNA TAKE IT TO THE GROUND AND THEN POUND!!!! ANY TIME LIDDELL SPENDS A SUBSTANTUAL AMOUNT OF TIME ON THE GROUND-HE LOSES (HORN/COURTURE)!!! HE IS ONE DIMENTIONAL. ALL TITO HAS TO DO IS THROW LEG KICKS THE 1ST ROUND(LOOK AT THE FIRST FIGHT-LIDDELL COULDNT TAKE THEM)-THIS WILL IMPAIR LIDDELL’S LOOPING OR HOOKING PUNCHES AND THE POWER BEHIND THEM WILL BE LIMITED DUE TO HIS INSTABILITY( LIKE CHOPPING DOWN A TREE). THIS WILL MAKE LIDDELL MORE PRONE TO THE TAKE DOWN. ROUND 2, TITO CAN KEEP KICKING TO THOSE LEGS THEN BRING IT UP A NOTCH TO LIDDELL BIG OH STOMACH AND TENDERIZE THOSE FALSE AND FLOATING RIBS-OR FRACTURE THEM!(OUCH!! I CAN FEEL IT!!) THIS WILL SURELY IMPEDE LIDDELL’S STRIKING ABILITY-AFTER THAT…IT’S ALL OVER-TITO WIN’S!!! IF TITO IS AS SMART AS I THINK HE IS-THIS WILL SURELY HAPPEN-HE KNOWS HOW TO ADAPT!!! NARK MY WORDS TITO WINS THIS ONE!!! LIDDELL’S TO OLD TO DIFFUSE OXYGEN AND CO2 FAST ENOUGH!!!
FOR ALL YOU TITO FANS THAT HAVE YOUR MONEY ON CHUCK…GET OFF THE BOAT BECAUSE YOUR ABOUT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY!!!LEG KICKS AND BODY KICKS-ALL THE WAY!!! THATS HOW YOU STOP LIDDELL!!!!
tito is going to kick liddel *** tito is so much stronger but he is a good fighter standing so that probably the way he’ll win
