Joe Riggs is most likely not fighting as we reported earlier last week. Also, it looks like that Marquardt vs. Tanner fight I talked about at UFC 64 isn’t happening since Marquardt will be fighting here. I don’t know why Marquardt isn’t being given his fair shake in the Middleweigt division. It could be related to the whole steroid fiasco he went through previously.

Yeah I agree. I really like Nate & too see him relegated to a prelim bout of a Fight Night card kinda sucks. I’d rather see Nate fight than say Matt Hamill

Don’t have one, I’d just rather see Marquardt fight on the main card.
To put it simply…my beefs are with the following fighters…
1.Nick Diaz-Don’t care about him as a person. Hell of a fighter, complete arrogant dickwad
2.Diego Sanchez- See #1
3.Tito Ortiz- See #1 and 2
Also I hate pride. Not any particular fighter in pride, they are cool in my books. I just don’t like Pride rules, production, techno anime entrance music, announcers, the ring, ect.

I honestly do not know why Ken Shamrock would want to get into the ring again with Ortiz. He is going to lose, and probably get very hurt again. Long term brain damage, bruising and hemmhoraging will be exacerbated. The man needs to just hang it up and preserve his brain while he still has it.
well, the more fights they have, the more chance ken has to land that one lucky punch so he can say he beat him atleast once. The last fight was a premature stoppage if you ask me, although it was basically over, they should have let him take another 6-7 elbows so nobody can dispute it.
Who was the ref again? herb dean? hes the worst ref in the UFC! wasnt it earlier in that card yves edwards nearly bled to death on the mat lol. He should get fired man, they have enough good refs to run it without him, or give someone else a shot.

Its not Herb Dean’s call in the Yves vs Stevenson fight. Thats up to the doctors and the doctors said Yves was good to fight. How can you blame Dean for that. Dean is an excellent ref; he gets the worst rap of anyone out there. People were furious when he stopped the Tim Sylvia vs. Frank Mir fight; but what happened. Turned out Dean was right and he ended up saving Sylvia’s whole career.

yea when your right, your right. It was the doctors call, so it wasnt really his fault there, but the shammy stoppage was his fault. Your right about the Sylvia thing too, it was hard for anyone but him to see that, and what can you say but sylvias a tough *******!
When i compare all the refs of ufc, hes at the bottom of the list, maybe hes just unlucky that most of the controversy happens during his bouts.

No, they won’t all be televised. The Fight Night shows typically have 4 televised fights, with a 5th fight shown if two or more of the other fights end quickly
