I agree 100% here. I’m not a real big fan of Baroni, however, Frank Shamrock is someone I actually hate more than Nick Diaz. I just usually don’t bring up Frank cause, well, when you are an “A” level fighter doing nothing but “B” level shows for the most part, you tend not to even matter much.

Well put. For a guy who bills himself as this huge MMA LEGEND, but will only fight for 1 million per fight and only in smaller shows. He can’t hang anymore with todays fighters, and I think Baroni will show that.

It will be interesting to see Frank tested. Baroni is a real contender at this point in his career. This match will be a good gauge of where Frank is in the MMA scene.

if he doesnt connect in the first round baroni will gas like always, and get submitted.

Frank Shamrock said in an interview, that he will knock baroni out. Pardon? Baroni is as i know the man with dynamite hands. There is no way that frank will know baroni out. Baroni on the other hand could take punishment like an elephant and is still fighting back. his submission defense on the ground is excellent. only if he would train more takedown defense and ground game (has worked for pride real deal) he could be number 1 in his weight class. The only thing i am 100% shure is that everyone who tries toe2toe fight with baroni ends k.o. and ground zero.

If you know fighting, MMA, boxing, wrestling ect… You’ll know that conditioning can carry a fighter with limitted training through to victory over a vetran or a KO artist. Their has never been a fighter with a higher level a conditioning than Frank. But we all know that he brings so much more to the table. Phil was a golden gloves boxer, hits hard and has hand speed second to only belfort. But just like Belfort his strength is is weekness, with every KO punch he throws his stamina suffers. Phil can knockout Frank, but that wont be a first for shamrock. Shamrock can embarss Phil, pushing to pace to a level that will make him tap from exhaustion( like tito did). Shamrock wins this fight, not by KO… but from Baroni punching himself out and then being man handled by the same man who sumitted a gold medalist wrestler in Kevin Jackson (ufc). This fight will rock the world of MMA when Shamrock wins and the rest of the card gives a good show.

its weird how this was six months ago and the fight still hasnt happened but its going to and from what i hear they dont like each other either

Personally I like Frank think he is humble man would root for him however I know many people in Phils Camp well Phil is not the normal Phil he has his gas like never before Frank isnt going to win this - I like every one else has said Phil is his own enemy in the ring he fights with his emotion and pore conditioning he isnt that guy right now my freinds fight in his camp and I work with his cousin so I know whats going on with him. And have always held the opinion that phil swings for the frnce and knocks you out or gases and gets beat he isnt going to gas this time he is in the best shape of his life and in a diferent mental mind set - Look out for this fight its going to be a defining moment in MMA I think

i dont think its gonna be that important but this fight will determine if we will see baroni in the ufc ever again who knows if frank wins maybe well see him?

No one can beat Frank S. Thats why he doesn’t fight in the ufc anymore. He’ll kill the compitition in light and welter wieght.

this will be tough to call, both have the ability to embarrass one another, it just depends on who drops their ego first and goes to fight. I used to think Frank was a great fighter and probably still is, but to me he has more to prove than Baroni. If he beats Baroni it will prove that he might still be able to mix it up with the new breed. We just cant forget that Frank was one of the first well rounded fighters out there, but after that long of a layoff, and a non impressive fight against Renzo , who knows where he is at. My prediction is either Frank gets ko’d in the first, or he will win in the later rounds by submission.

funny but i dont recall frank ever losing in the UFC. matter of fact he destroyed all the big names in his weight class and retained his title for quite some time. All you haters out there either get in the ring and represent or shut the **** up.

Everyone who talked smack about Frank Shamrock just ate their words. Frank beat the hell out of Baroni, knocked him down twice and almost knocked him out. Baroni’s face was a mess and then Frank choked him unconscious. hats off to baroni as well, he is one tough customer. Frank doesn’t fight for UFC because he hates Dana White and the way he runs the UFC. By the way he fights for Strikeforce. Strikeforce may not be as big as the UFC but they are a first rate organization and their president Scott Coker is aman of integrity unlike that loudmouth publicity seeking Dana White.

i am liking frank a little more now but to say he has no competition is bull yeah i can see where the ufc makes some dumb mistakes but my hats off to frank that was one hell of a fight and goldberg even seen shlong

Frank will smash baroni. Loud mouth new yorker who brawls and thinks to much of himself. Frank is wiry, cardio crazy and can duck and weave better than most even on the bottom while in guard
