yea for sure, monson was fighting his heart out man, its tough for the little guy, when hes got 30 pounds and a foot of reach on you. I can see silvia fighting strategicly, fighting defensive, let monson get tired going for the shoot. Maybe for the first round, maximum 2 rounds, after that he should have started putting some pressure on monson. He did start moving forward a little more, but throwing nothing but jabs and the odd straight.

Its not enough to have the belt around your waist, you still have to perform like a champion. Like when big john stopped the fight and told them to start throwing lol! i dont think ive ever seen that in a championship bout.

Psshhhhh…Sylvia did what has plaqued boxing for years…he danced around and did just enough to win. Like Tyson or not, he made boxing exciting because he went out ballz to the walls. When he went downhill, boxing went downhill because Lennex Lewis would do just enough to win, etc, etc. I understand not every fight will end in a knockout or submission, but this one could have. I guess Sylvia was afraid of losing. What a *****…come on, to be 6′8″ and 260, he could have knocked Munson out in the 3rd, 4th or 5th rounds—then he has enough nerve to get on the mic and tell Vera he’s going to knock his *** out, please!
