Yes is am mad that diego lost such as i am that gsp lost. That fight was a fluke and i think it should have went to a draw. Neither one did anything except for kos pulling a sugar ray leonard and doing something at the end of the rounds to sore with the judges and getting that last impression. But right after that diego got a reverse and got his back. But that is my opinion on how i would have judged it. But i as well as diego have to come to the conclusion that he did lose and your recod now says 19-1.

I think he’s a little disapointed with his performance and still wants to believe he’s undefeted. The fight was really lame especially for all the hype and hatred that these guys have for each other. Like GSP I think this experience has woke them up and renewed their passion to want to be the best. I think Diego is going to be a better fighter because of this loss. I couldn’t believe the way these guys weren’t even fighting. I think this was allmost a draw myself because no one ever had the other in trouble or really dominated. Anyway I hope he comes back with vengance and fights the way everyone knows he can. GSP vs Diego would be sick fight now because they will both have a lot to prove.

As a big fan of Diego’s I was just as shocked as everyone else by him pulling a “Sylvia” in that fight. Something mental happened there. It sounds crazy but I think that in a way Diego never thought he should have even been fighting a guy like Kos, who Diego believes is beneath him as a fighter. I think if Diego had to fight a top level talent like GSP, he would really go all out and not be so tentative. Diego is a pretty active fighter, fighting frequently throughout the year…maybe he just got bored. But at that same time…as soon as he felt the power of Kos’ punch, it probably changed his gameplan…that’s all it takes.

The fight was absolutely pathetic on both parts. I can’t believe Koscheck is gloating. Over what? Over one takedown at the end of round one? They didn’t throw 50 punches between the both of them. I’ve seen 11 of Sanchez’s fights and NEVER has he been this complacent. Considering all the betting on the sides, Sanchez would probably be given at LEAST 7 to 1, yeah…I’d say he threw the fight DELIBERATELY. Not mental blocks. No peyote. Cowardice and greed and I’m disgusted that a purse was awarded to either fighter.

Not sure. I called both Monday and Tuesday and they didn’t have them, so I haven’t called back. I would think either sometime today or tomorrow hopefully.

Thanks, just wondering, I would like to see what the take was for Diego and GSP… neither fighter earned their paychecks, but it’s fun to be in the know on what top MMA fighters are making..

I think Diego needs to come back to earth and read the MMA headlines. The guy is weird, but hey, so it Tito Bell, and he puts butts in the seats so, yeah, not every Tito Bell fight has been great, but they Hype surrounding him, the whole ambience of his personality is what keeps the checks rolling in, even though he is NOT a top fighter in the LHW division anymore. I think Diego is going to get shut down if he fights any better competition than what he has been fighting, I think we saw a man more concerned with his “legacy” Saturday night playing it safe, than a true champion willing to go out, set the pace, and win the fight..

hey guys, i know Diego wasnt as aggressive as he could have been in the fight with Kos, but really, the reason why the fight went how it did was because of Kos. It was his strategy to play the keep away game, most of the time Diego was moving forward and Kos was backing away. When the crowd would boo, Diego would attack and Kos knew that would happen, part of his mind game with Diego that night. Thats when Kos started tagging him because he knew Diego would attack when the crowd would boo. After Diego realized what was going on, he stopped moving forward, cant blame him for not walking straight into right hands..

If you guys are mad about that fight, blame Kos..

Diegos like an animal when he fights, he gets that tunnel vision and his brain shuts off and he lets his instincts takeover. Kos played the mental game and made diego look stupid.. Like a Bull and a matador.. great strategy because all he wanted was the W, he didnt care if it was ugly, or boring. He got the job done too man! hehe

I think this is just what Diego needed, maybe it will make him a more cerebral fighter, because this game isnt ONLY about skill.

tito was awsome on the show he cared about his fighters a lot but after pussing out on dana i lost a little respect but why didnt dana pay the guy if he wanted money sh*it out of his own pocket if need be but then image if a guy u hated was a ufc star it must suck knowing the guy for sure could kick ur *** but dana was a boxer so this fight could of leveled the field so if i was dana i would of paid him worked my azzz off and put a spanking on him like couture did

well this was a fight tito requested as part of his contract, im sure he got payed everything else in that contract, so this fight WAS his payment. I guess tito was just mad at the time when he asked for the fight and hes not mad anymore but who knows..

I think it’s very simple….tito was afraid to get hurt before his fight with evans.

TUF changed my opinion of Tito real quick. He seemed like a well composed, articulate fighter who loves this sport so much. But, after seeing last night’s show, I feel ripped off. I really thought it was going to happen. What Tito did was a lack of respect for many fans who wanted to really see this, he was the one who made it public. The best part was when Liddell said, “Tito doesn’t like to get hit, all Dana has to do is hit him”. I lost a lot of respect for him. He ******* about how he is misunderstood and then pulls stuff like this. Another show of greed, I did however gain a lot of respect for the President, I’m glad he’s running this thing for us. He seems like a really down to earth guy to everyone and an incredible business man.

I believe that Chuck is plenty capable, but Quit’n is pretty good and anything can happen in the octagon, it’s not as predictable as a boxing ring, just look at Serra vs. GSP

I’ll tell you who let me down, and really, for me this is where the UFC fights started becoming unpredictable was Andrei Arlovski getting knocked out by Tim the Idiot Sylvia, man, that was a freakin’ nightmare, watched one of the best get knocked out by a guy who probably wet his bed until he was 17 years old..

Then Couture completely dominating Sylvia.. whoa at 43 years old… that was a WONDERFUL surprise.

But then, GSP getting knocked out by Serra, that was just stupid…
So, anything CAN happen.. but I do think Chuck will beat Quit’n.

Don’t tell me you missed it! Basically Tito called out Dana as part of his contract negotiations to a boxing match, then did not show up for the weigh in because he didn’t want to get hurt before his fight with Sugar.

What gets me is that he’s really afraid that Dana could hurt him, and that Sugar can beat him… What a puz.

You guys are versed in MMA, Fab is the BJJ instructor for Cro Cop, he is pretty good, he is going up the ladder, while unfortunately, Arlovski has been going down his last 3 fights.. even his last fight, if Herb Dean the idiot hadn’t intervened, and stopped the momentum of the fight I think it would have gone split decision against Andrei because he was getting handled up until the stoppage.

Maybe the UFC should start drug screening their refs, because, omg, how many times has Herb pulled a “Herb Dean” in a fight. Super fast stoppage on the 2nd Ortiz/Shamrock fight, then the CONFUSION, man it was just plain CONFUSION in the octagon during the last Arlovski fight… frustrates me, it’s the same as having crappy refs in the Super Bowl.. they can really ruin a fight and a fighters career…

tho Doc J will disagree with me, Herbz the worst ref in the UFC.. i just cant see it being a coincidence when all these “isolated incidents” keep happening to the same ref. Latest Big Herbie slip-up was the Frank Shamrock vs Renzo Gracie match. When a guy throws a knee to the back of the head on the ground, the ref should get involved, but he waited until the 2nd knee and Renzo couldnt continue. Now if it had been a knee to the face, he probably would have intervened, he must not have realized that a blow to the back of the head is MUCH worse. sigh… hes a fool man, ill gladly discuss the point with anyone who disagrees
