In a short press release, published on the Japanese version of the Pride website, DSE, the company that gave birth to the organization, communicated the cancellation of the lightweight GP, the first phase of which was planned for July. According to the release, the fans that had already purchased tickets will be reimbursed.
The release asks for the fans’ patience and soon more information on the Pride’s management will be released.

Im hating what i see, the pride management has become way too flaky.. i think its the end of Pride guys.. UFC and pride have never seen eye to eye enough even to agree on a single fight (with a few exception) let alone this whole buying out thing. I dont think its gonna go down.. i think prides just gonna fall off.. what a sad turn of events :(
i think its gone to ufc needs to get the best fighters of pride like there doing already and let pride rest in peace
