Comment by Maxx about 1 year, 3 months ago

Wow, who negotiated Din’s pay? They’re damn good. Din’s a good fighter….but damn 4th highest paid fighter of the night. Congrats din.

Comment by MMAKansas about 1 year, 3 months ago

The contracts are pre negotiated.. I am sure Dana anticipated Chuck would win… but hey in the UFC.. as gatties and todd pointed out, Chuck was at the top of the food chain so yeah, he deserved the bigger payday.. for American fans… WHO IS RAMPAGE?! .. lol.. so Rampage will have to earn the fan base, when he does, up goes the check … lol

Comment by zak about 1 year, 3 months ago

how is jardine making 7000 when virtually everyone else is making more and he is a big name? Even chris leben is making more

Comment by richard about 1 year, 3 months ago

i still cant believe that jardine got manhandled

after watching the INTENSE staredown between chuck and wandy, i absolutely think wandy should be the next fight. I think it would make perfect sense. In every aspect it would be the best move for the iceman and the ax murderer. For them to to fight after a build up of previous call outs (courtesy of the axe murderer)this would, and could in my eyes make for a big attraction and generate a already growing fan,money base. This fight is what each fighter wants, the fans want it(whoever is a follower of mma), and im pretty sure the organizations want it. Just give it good publicity, and you dont need a lot of hype, **** just air both of their highlight reels, and i think this could be the biggest event the ufc has put together so far. Especially in ppvs, everything. Man i thought the tito ortiz ordeal was big, this could be gigantic!!!!! At first i said no to this possibility because of what the outcome of the fight could be for either fighter, then i got the thinking…….we want to see who the best is, and there is no getting around that. I think it could rejuvenate both of their careers after devestating k’o loses. This could be the next RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE or something. I would love to see this event take place in a football dome like dana said he wanted to have. Man i would give my left nut, trade in my girl(i have no kids), and say f_ck months rent to get tickets to see that match!!!!!! With all the right ingredients that could be awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comment by richard about 1 year, 3 months ago

hell ya that would be awesome but dana for some one who appears to say whats on his mind gave us a tease then took it away its like a girl showing her fingering herself in front of a guy then when im pulling my pants down says she aint ready ,what do i do with my boner ?????? LOL

Comment by todd about 1 year, 3 months ago

@richard,lol lol lol

But if that fight does happen i hope they do it right, i mean because in my mind that would be such a great fight, non-mma fans would for sure get on the wagon for a damn fight like that. The only thing you could pray for is that chuck nor wandy get hit DIRECTLY on the chin early in the fight and it ends….just like that!!!!!!!!!! I want to see a long 5 round slug fest with a great wandy and a great chuck. I couldnt picture that fight in new york or something, i picture a fight with that magnatude and calliber of fighters (who are both legends and hall of famers) to be in a memorable setting with thousands of screaming foreign/home fans!!!!!!!!

Comment by richard about 1 year, 3 months ago

if the fight happens i would be going for liddel U ?

Comment by todd about 1 year, 3 months ago

of cours!!!!!!!!!!!!!! liddell is the man!!!!!!! behind my fav arlovski ill bet for liddell anyday, as long as he can stand and hold his hands up he has my bet. I dont discredit wandy, but chuck is chuck….i was mad at the recent loss, but i honestyl DO think he can beat quinton and i know he knows that but sh*% happens and so do right hooks while your backing up so….but yep im taking liddell all the way with the same punch that landed with randy(2nd fight) i think he can catch him. I think wandy will try and pressure him and be ultra aggressive and chuck will do what he does and play counter-puncher and catch him. But it is bold to go against wandy with his surprising knock out power and fast hands……but im taking chuck against all odds…

Comment by richard about 1 year, 3 months ago

i agree tod except he cant beat rampage i was going for ramapage the whole time kansas said it best rampage is chucks nemisis like wandy is rampages but i do believe wandy will come in wild and then he will get koed

Comment by todd about 1 year, 3 months ago

damn it sure seems like it though!! even though i dont want it to be true it sure as hell sounds like it. Man i just cant believe chuck aint the champ anymore. But time goes on

Comment by richard about 1 year, 3 months ago

i can believe he aint champ i just cant believe the way he lost

Comment by bvrasp about 1 year, 3 months ago

chuck-wandy was the most anticipated fight in mma history like 5 years ago man… its been THAT long that we have been waiting to see that fight… those 2 guys have to meet or we will always be wondering who was really the best! i think its inevitable.. it will happen eventually, but chucks getting older too.. this fight should have happened atlest twice already and we should be at the rubber match by now.. think of all the potential money both UFC and Pride lost by not agreeing on a mutually beneficial contract for this fight..

Comment by todd about 1 year, 3 months ago

Yea really didnt get to see a real war like the first fight, but i think chuck didnt fight his game plan and when rampge mocked him chuck bit and got caught straight up.

Comment by todd about 1 year, 3 months ago

all cudos to rampage because that punch was perfect.

Comment by richard about 1 year, 3 months ago

perfect punch then some perfect ground n pound

Comment by MMAKansas about 1 year, 3 months ago

Got to one up you there Rich.. lol

Comment by aFan about 1 year, 3 months ago

@bvrasp

yeah i agree chuck vs wand would be a good fight, i correct myself in my previous comment. I also agree that this should have happen 2 or 3 years ago. But still I think Liddel would win in it, but if it goes to a decision wand will eventually win it. Chuck should Knock him out.

If Wand wants to dominate the UFC he has got to go through the LHW gatekeepers Tito and Chuck. I would like to see Wand win against tito and redeem his loss to tito, cause Wand is way better than tito or maybe fight the young guys in that division…..Griffin, Bisping, Evans…….its an exciting division

Comment by MMAKansas about 1 year, 3 months ago

To let Quinton fight for the title in his second fight then make a legend like Wand fight TUF guys on his way in, is in my opinion an insult. They don’t deserve to fight him, and he should get a crack at Tito or Chuck immediately and a title shot right after he beats the crap out of titty sucker ortiz…

Comment by MMAKansas about 1 year, 3 months ago

And just to get a word in on the other side.. I DON’T AGREE WITH ANY OF YOU.. I DO HONESTLY BELIEVE THAT WAND WOULD WIN AGAINST CHUCK RIGHT NOW.. KNOCKOUT FOR SURE, IN THE CLENCH AND WITH MULTIPLE KNEE SHOTS… HE WOULD ALSO TAKE THE BELT FROM THAT ROY JONES WANNABE QUINTON JACKSON.. HE HAS DONE IT TWICE ALREADY AND IF BY SOME MIRACLE HELL DOES FREEZE OVER AND QUINTON WOULD WIN>>>> SHOGUN WILL COME AND KICK THE CRAP OUT OF BOTH QUINTON AND DAN HENDERSON, BET!

CHUTEBOXE FOR LIFE BABY!

@DOC

I DID WIN THAT NEW WAND T-SHIRT YOU HAD ADVERTISED ON HERE EARLIER.

Comment by R.J. St.Croix about 1 year, 3 months ago

i am a big chuck liddell fan for sure he is a great fighter and he shows a lot of class. he is very good for the sport. i am also a wanderlei silva fan because he is an animal, you know the call him the axe murderer right? he didnt get that nick name for his kitten petting skills. wanderlei silva is a killer, just watch one of his stare downs you know what he’s thinking? he thinking “hmmm i wonder what kind of sauce would go good with this guy?” so liddell vs. silva i have to go with silva. like Kansas said CHUTEBOXE FOR LIFE.
p.s. watch out for that shogun dude i think he might be pretty good too.

Comment by Dr J about 1 year, 3 months ago

@MMAK,

Good man, glad the ads were useful and you got something you liked.

Comment by bvrasp about 1 year, 3 months ago

haha yea RJ i would say shogun is “pretty good”. The guys a beast, you ever seen how those guys train at chutebox? man i saw some of their training videos, and the get pretty comical sometimes. Wandy holding guys down and slapping body gloves on them while they cry out in pain. lol Its pretty funny, but those guys train HARD man, like to the point of injury to toughen eachother up.. I hate to train like that personally, but then again, im not a pro fighter.

LOL Wandy is such a bully with his guys man, he puts the smack down on them daily.. literally!

Comment by richard about 1 year, 3 months ago

they train like animals im not going to say they dont could shogun beat liddel he*ll yes he could but wandy dont think so OH AND KANSAS u said earlier that rampage shows that wide punches can ko liddel but i had no argument but i do now rampage is 6 foot right wandy is 5′9 meaning he has shorter arms meaning the punch rampage landed wandy never would of not because he aint good but because hes to short im not saying he wont land any punches he will but i doubt if he would land a punch like rampage did

Comment by bvrasp about 1 year, 3 months ago

@richard

man, i gotta find those old videos of chutebox training sessions to show you, theyre funny as hell! lol

About the Silva-Liddell, ive said im with Silva no matter who he fights.. but just in response to what your saying.. I think Silva could have landed that punch cuz he can close the gap way better than rampage.. but blah.. it was a one punch KO basically, it could happen to anyone, i would have liked to see that fight go longer so Rampage could REALLY put the hurt on chuck hehe.. Silva would beat chuck in the clinch so the arm length doesnt really matter.. oh and Wandy knows how to secure a muai thai clinch, unlike Keith Jardine LOL

Comment by richard about 1 year, 3 months ago

bvrasp u find them ill watch em im not knocking wandy NOT AT ALL but his axe murderer style fights perfectly with chucks laid back countering NO?do i think wandy is technically better YES do i think wandy has more tools in the tool shed YES do i think wandy is a fu*cken beast that would love to kill liddel YES but do i think he would win that fight NO

Comment by MMAKansas about 1 year, 3 months ago

Do I think you make sense after that argument??? Richard stay out of the shed and stop with the weed and cerveja man!

LOL KIDDING BRO! You are entitled to your opinion no matter how wrong you are bro!

Wand would do all you said, and his little arms would crush Chuckie.. he is too fast for Chuck man.. Chucks legs are really slow now.. did you guys notice how he wobbles and hobbles around the octagon, it’s almost like he is gonna fall down backwards…

Comment by R.J. St.Croix about 1 year, 3 months ago

@BV
yeah bro i’ve seen the same video your talking about. i was just being an asss when i was making it sound like i didnt really know who shogun is lol. i think the guy at chuteboxe rule i was just kinda trying to call out some of the trolls that might be hanging around lol

Comment by R.J. St.Croix about 1 year, 3 months ago

and one fighter i almost forgot about from chuteboxe is evangelista santos i know he doesnt have the best record but he puts on a good show.

Comment by richard about 1 year, 2 months ago

cyborg is a great fighter and u guys should see him fight a guy named melvin manhoeff that was a war

Comment by R.J. St.Croix about 1 year, 2 months ago

@richard
yeah thats exactly what i’m talking about cyborg lost that fight but it was fun to watch. that sort of thing is why like pride so much because they dont worry so much about who wins or loses just as long as you show how big your heart is and you put on a good show for the fans.

Comment by richard about 1 year, 2 months ago

KANSAS
i dont smoke weed i drink but i stay away from the green stuff man,but im trying to make u see my point of view on why i think that wandy would lose could wandy win hell yes he could does he have the power and the speed yes can his “little arms”get the job done of course they can and have i just think that wandy has little respect for some of the opponents he fights and liddel is one of them and if u do not have respect for a fighter it may come back and bite u in the azzzz

Comment by richard about 1 year, 2 months ago

rj
that fight was awesome ive seen it like 10 times pride was always more exciting cuz the kicks on the ground and knees and even the freak show fights were fun to watch BUT NOW BACK TO WORK

Comment by MMAKansas about 1 year, 2 months ago

@Rich

I know you are trying to convince me to see your point… cool… but your argument isn’t good enough to convince me.. lol

Comment by bvrasp about 1 year, 2 months ago

yo Kansas, you see i posted a link for Wandy - Saku 1? dam that was a crazy fight hehe

Comment by MMAKansas about 1 year, 2 months ago

Hey BV, yeah crazy… all of Wands fights seem to end with someone getting whipped lol.. no such thing as a split decision or boring fight with Wandi lol ..

Saku rocks, he is now Chuteboxe which ….. yeah, you know..

Comment by richard about 1 year, 2 months ago
