Dave Meltzer from WrestlingObserver.com is reporting that Thales Leites will replace Travis Lutter at UFC 74 on August 25 and fight Ryan Jenson.
Earlier today we reported that Lutter withdrew from his fight at UFC 74 because of an injury.
Leites is currently 2-1 in the UFC with victories over Pete Sell and Floyd Sword after dropping a decision to Martin Kampmann in his UFC debut.

I’m not sure if any of you got to see the UFC feature on
CNBC’s “Business Nation” last night…but I’ll sum it up quickly.
In the interview, it was mentioned that The Fertittas bought the UFC for $2 million and later invested over $40million just to turn the failing company around. When Dana was asked when the Fertittas are going to see a return on their investment…
he convincingly replied, “this year”. Of course, this comment suggests that he has some exciting ideas for the future of the UFC. However, I should also mention that this story was originally filmed before UFC 64. Yes, that’s right…it was an entire 10 UFC PPVs ago…which to many seems like an ion…given everything that’s happened since then.
SO, it is hard to pinpoint exactly what Dana was implying. Was he talking about the Pride acquisition? the endorsements and sponsors?the reality show? or was he talking about what we all dream he should be talking about…making the best fighters in the world meet in the octagon.
this is off topic and i would use the forum but it doesnt seem many of you guys use it. but you BJ Penn fans are probably gonna like this but you should all check this out. BJ talks about steroids, training, how he got started in Ju Jitsu, and the worlds greatest fighter El Guapo Bas Rutten! check it out:
