EliteXC has officially announced their partnership with ICON Sport and the Rumble on the Rock promotions based out of Hawaii.
EliteXC President Gary Shaw, along with ICON’s T. Jay Thompson and ROTR’s J.D. Penn announced the partnership today at the Blasidell Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii. The first joint show will be this September 15 at the Blaisdell Arena and will be titled EliteXC - Uprising. The main event will feature a Middleweight title fight between EliteXC champion Murilo “Ninja” Rua and ICON champion “Ruthless” Robbie Lawler. The event is also expected to be broadcast on Showtime.

yeah no doubt ive been waiting for my boy Diaz to get back in the mix. the last time he fought i doubted him and said Gomi would knock him out. that was one of the best fights i have ever seen and Nick Diaz always puts on a good show even if hes fueled by weed lol.
