Well its official, the UFC now has the best fighters in the World period… all they need to complete their organization is Fedor, but even without him, having Rampage, Wand, Cro Cop, Liddell, Couture, my god man, the list goes on… and on…. I am so happy today… I love this whole thing man… Wand is gonna be fighting again and I believe him, he will come out whippin some arse!

Weeks ago when deal “fell through” most people here were on a Dana White Diss fest. Me being the voice of reason (and sometimes Dana’s lone supporter apparently) told you the deal will happen. Contracts can be tricky but the deal would happen.

Now you guys can ***** about why Dana hasn’t been able to sign Fedor yet.

For the record, Wandy is going to get his chin checked by Chucko when they meet.

Not happening.. there is a reason this is the penacle of Whites career… Wand is the one fighter he knows that has beaten both Dan Henderson, Rampage Jackson….. and in a Grand Prix he had a draw with an oversized heavyweight Cro Cop… cmon .. chin check? I thinks we saw how long OLD, (and I mean old) Chucko can last with a real striker from the now defunct Pride organization… less than 40 seconds I do believe.. enough to send the “IceFan” aka Dennis running and most of Chucks fans now have the doubt of his skill in their heads after seeing his last fight….. lol… yeah long arms and wobbly legs will get r done, he had an almost 6 inch reach advantage on Rampage and couldn’t even hit the guy…… of course he has to deal with a MOTIVATED Wanderlei Silva and that is only if he gets past Keith Jardine… lol… nope no chin checkin for Wand… thats coming from a Republican, and we all know Republicans are better than Libertarians Jason. Just kidding… lol

chuck’s gotta get past jardine first… that might not be that easy considering what jardine has brought to the table.

either way, i say give wandy somebody like rashad evans first. let him expose that dude and then move on to a real fighter.

I think we should see Tito and Wandi again. Tito got the best of him like a hundred years ago…..Does Tito still have enough steam to over power Wandi with take downs again….Hmmm I doubt it.

I agree with both of you.. give Wandi a bone to chew on so he can warm up those lock jaws… Rashad or Tittie babie Ortiz would be perfect, me thinks Wandi needed some motivation, (5 years at the top of an organization will make a person feel they have nothing left to accomplish) he was getting to the point where his dominance was making him apathetic, give him Tito, and he will jump at that, he would love to recover that early in life loss, the other thing is that he is NOT a champion in the UFC, its a new goal, and Chuck is a challenge he has wanted to meet for a long time. This fresh start for him is like a new job for any of us after being in a “whatever same ol same” job for a long time… he is excited, motivated, he has some new training friends like Couture, and I think he will run over his first opponents, then take the belt from whoever has it.

wow…now this is news!!!I really don’t see which fighter in the LHW division will give Wandi a tough time aside from Hendo…it definitely won’t be guys like Evans or Jardine. It seems like Dana is signing guys to long-term contracts (Vera-6fights) in an effort to probably have some incredible matchups in the coming months and even years…does anyone know how many fights Wandi is on board for?
ALSO, what does this mean with both Shogun AND Wandi now in the same division? I don’t see them wanting to ever fight each other?

I don’t know if they will, I know for sure they prefer not to, however I haven’t seen the contract, I would be curious to know the clauses in it that pertain to that sort of thing. Wandi is darn loyal to the organizations he fights for, so I would think they would work that out up front. It will be something to watch for. If Wand wins the LHW, or if Shogun does, I would be watching to see if Dana tries to match them up.

I want to see Wand fight like now! Man I can’t wait for December, we are gonna see some fights, I am freakin excited about all the upcoming cards, they look good, man it’s about time…. August 25th and September 8th are going to be 2 of the best cards in months…

Randy vs Gonzaga.. wow! very unpredictable fight.

GSP vs Kos.. its hard to say because Kos really impressed me in his last fight with Diego and GSP was lack luster vs Serra, one is on an all time high, the other at an all time low. I really think GSP is on tilt after losing his first title defence to an inferior fighter. Lets hope he doesnt follow in louiseaus footsteps..

Huerta vs Crane and Joe Daddy vs pellegrino? man.. why didnt they just have Huerta fight Stevenson??? great test for Huerta, because in my book hes yet to really be tested. Joe should be fighting for the title soon..

I think UFC should do a Rampage All Access show before his fight with Hendo, i mean.. you got the funniest guy in mma as the LH champ! let him do his thing! I think the only thing they have with rampage is him saying hes gonna whoop chucks azzz.. I wanna hear more from Rampage!! let rogan interview him or something.. What ever happened to Rogans show inside the UFC? that was a great show too..

yeah a Rampage All Access would be comedy gold! the dude is just funny. and i think the show inside the UFC got canceled due to bad ratings. it was a cool show though i liked how they explained different unknown aspects of fighting, it was a good idea to try and educate the newer fans but i think that might have been the down fall at the same time. the guy that cheers for Chuck Liddell just because hes the only name they know doesnt care much about the ins and outs of cauliflower ear.

Doesn’t Monson still have an exclusive contract with Pride FC / UFC? He is fighting none other than PEDRO RIZZO in “The Art Of War” and I was a little confused on that.
Also I was surprised to see Jeremy Horn returning to the fight game… wow that was a bit of a shocker, I thought he was done for good, as I thought of Pedro Rizzo.

i doubt Monson still has a UFC contract because they dont like non-exclusive contracts and Monson fought in PRIDE befor the buy out and hes going to be fighting in the Art of War thing Sep. 1st and also he was supposed to fight two days ago in Global Fighting Championship (it was there first show) but it was canceled. i think the G.F.C. card was canceled because not enough fighters were cleared to fight, someone correct me if im wrong on this.

p.s. Jeremy Horn will never stop, he has what 70,000 fights now. he will be 127 years old and still be a tough fight for anyone. Rizzo is a pretty big surprise i figured he would be sippin drinks on a beach in Brazil for the rest of his days.

I dont think Monson still is under contract with the UFC. He technically had a fight scheduled and fought with Pride, but at the moment I don’t think he is under Zuffa contract.

ALso, I was going to attend that GFC show with press credentials, but at the last second, I ended up not going to various reasons. Boy, am I glad I didn’t take the drive down to Mohegan Sun only to get told 1 hour before the event that they were cancelling.

yeah no doubt, i heard they canceled it just befor they were supposed to open the doors.
