LOL when i found this video i almost sh*t myself. i have never liked Koscheck, i though he was a ***** the first time i heard him speak. i never though he would be dumb enough to say sh*t like this on film for the world to see. this is the kind of stuff you say to your buddy while your chillin in you living room, not during an interview for your “fans” to see. i think the bleach has leaked through to his brain and he need to go back to high school wrestling were him and his attitude might fit in a little better.

Finally! I’ve hated this guy since the TUF show. He is really ignorant and I can’t wait till this weekend to see GSP destroy him. I’m glad I’ll be able to see the beating live. This is the first UFC event I’m going to attend live and this fight is the one I’m looking forward to most. He doesn’t know how to have an exciting fight. He’s the biggest lay and pray artist since Sherk. The UFC needs to get rid of this guy he’s trash.

Kos sure did say some stupid things………lol…….I can’t believe these guys sometimes…….Dude you are a fighter on TV, you need to watch what you say??? Beside the ignorant comments, you gotta give him his respect as a fighter. The guy has not even fought that long and he is already one of the top tier fighters. He is by far the best wrestler in the game and every fight his hands and Jiu-Jitsu are improving. With his recent wins he is gaining a lot of confidence, and he will be tough to beat. His fight with GSP is not going to be a one sided victory for GSP, remember Kos can fight where he wants to fight..wether I like him or not I believe Kos beats GSP by controlling the fight on the ground..3 Round Decision to KOS.

As much as I think GSP is a very likable guy and a great fighter, I do think that he will have his hands full with this moron, Kos. Kos has superior striking power but I think GSP can fight much smarter and find ways to land his shots, since as we all know, it’s not always about the power shot..but about making any punch land right on the button.

I also hated Kos from day 1, but after his GREAT strategic win over Diego and seeing how far hes come, i have alot more respect for the guy. Ya hes a diik, but like Kos said, so is Hughes and its not a popularity contest, its a fight. I still think GSP is the better overall fighter, but Kos seems to have some great strategy, if its from him or his coaches, i dunno.. but i like it. Also, GSP has some head problems at the moment since his loss to Serra.

Im picking Kos to win this fight by Decision. They will probably trade a bit on the feet, GSP will connect on him, then Kos will bust out the wrestling skills and hold him down. Although Kos said he has a different strategy in store for the fans, nothing like hes ever done before.. we shall see..

Very possible, but he did not get submitted my Diego in their first fight when Kos kept it on the ground. Diego’s ground game is better than GSP, so getting cousght in a triangle will be tough to pull off. Anything is possible especially when you have two great atheltes in the cage………let’s see what happens, but I still have Kos winning by decision.

Kos said he has a new strategy which ufc fans haven’t seen before. Well, we have seen stand up game and ground game from him. Perhaps this time, he will try to fly and show us his air game?!! What an idiot!

Damn I hate this idiot! Kos reminds me of ignorant MF. Now he is even racist. What does he mean Hughes is white and slow? For the love of God if he tries to sell his fight like tito talking trash, he should still at least show some professionalism. Now all he’s shown is how uneducated he is. At least tito or Hughes, if they are arrogant, they have their CV to show that they have proven themselves over the years. What has Kos proved? Nothing. He beat up a diego with staph infection. Now he is taking on a GSP who is mentally unwell (By the way, I’m not implying GSP will lose even though I do feel GSP will not be the GSP that we used to see after his devastating lost to Serra). What’s next? Beating up a child? Dana needs to get rid of this guy. He is damaging the image of UFC. Kos is one of those guys that will never be classy or marketable.
I know what Kos is trying to do. He is trying to talk a lot of trash about all the top fighters so he gets a lot of grudge matches against all the top guys. In this way, he gets to jump start his carrier real quick. Well for those of you that get sucked into this and buying up PPV to see him getting his *** kicked, you are all falling into his plan. This is what Kos wants. To work against him is to boycott all his matches! Think about it for a minute and you will understand. I know I will not be going to UFC event or PPV if Kos is in the main card (assuming that he will ever be in the main card at all).

I can’t believe some of you are picking Kos to win. We don’t need another wrestler like Sherk to lay and pray people to sleep. Sure he is a good athlete but a big part of their jod in the UFC is to entertain. I can’t name one fight where Kos was entertaining. Even if GSP loses he puts it all on the line and is exciting. Nobody can say the same for Josh.

my friend the sanchez match only went to the floor at the very end of the first round bud and diego was handling him for only about 10 or 15 seconds ,kos will lose by submission very soon bud maybe not to gsp but to someone

You cant always side with the favorite man, the way things are looking for this fight, its very possible Kos will upset GSP. This is one of those times when the underdog could win.

The only part of the koscheck diego fight that was remotely interesting is when they went to the ground and diego did this reversal thing and was in top position. And Gsp is better on the ground than Diego. If you dont believe me watch Frank Trigg vs Gsp.

I dunno if you can really say GSP is better on the ground than Diego, you definately cant say its because of Trigg. I dont think theres enough evidence to make that claim Zak. You could definately say GSP is better standing than Diego, theres alot of evidence to support that hehe..

My thoughts on Koscheck are mixed. I do not care for his attitude at all; I was very unhappy when he wouldn’t take any responsibility for pranking Chris Leben and driving him nuts on TUF 1. I don’t know how much of this attitude is real, and how much is worked to get a reaction, but either way, it really makes me dislike the man.

However, I can’t say he isn’t marketable, and I certainly can’t complain about his fighting. I’m not the type to hate on a guy for being boring unless he looks like a coward, trying to neutralize his opponent because he’s afraid of his skill. Koscheck’s just a good wrestler who can control people and win that way. I can’t fault him for that.

I think he’s pretty marketable, as he really seems to know how to make the crowd hate him. In wrestling, it’s called “heel heat,” and Koscheck, for the most part, seems to incite the “good” kind (you want to see him get beat) rather than the “bad” kind (you want to change the channel when he’s on).

So, really, I guess I’m a mark. But I do want to see him get humbled.

ok but the frank trigg was highly rated at the time. Ok no its not the most dominating but its in my top 10. He made Matt Hughes look like an amateur for having so much trouble with him. (even if he got hit in the groin)

I definately think GSP has the better standup game, and if he did fight Diego, he should keep it on the feet, why bother even finding out whos better on the ground? Keep Diego standing and totally out of his game like Kos did and he would win much easier.

ya but since Diego knocked out Riggs (why Riggs tried to jump up is beyond me) its as if he fancies himself a boxer. His fight with Koscheck was a while ago so i forget but did he even shoot once?

And that is a disgusting fight man. I think that white guy was done after the first elbow. Horrible job by the ref on that one. He took like 8 elbows in all. That could be lethal.

I tend to think that Riggs fight was lucky shot, im sure Diego has some hands, but hes not a very cerebral fighter. What Kos did was a head f*ck, he Kept moving away so the fans would boo, forcing Diego to come in, then Kos would counter him. After doing that for a while after Diego was completely frustrated Kos started changing it up and attacking instead of just countering plus the takedowns at the end of the round. It was all about the gameplan, Kos is a diik head, but hes not stupid, kind of like Frank Shamrock.

But that Knee Riggs ate could have happened to anyone, Riggs is a tough guy, hes that guy right at the middle of the division separating the great fighters and the mediocre ones.

I know Kos has a decent chance of winnibg this fight I just don’t like the guy. His style is boring and his attitude sucks. He’s a great wrestler and that’s about it. He has little submission game considering how well he controlls oponent on the ground. I see him as a lay and pray decision artist. GSP needs to get his mental game straight that’s his biggest weakness right now. I just read an article on the UFC website and the guy sounds to cocky for the little he has accomplished. The bore fest against Diego is not a great win in my book. Yea he had a good game plan and frustrated Diego but it was boring as hell. Like I said before a big part of their job out there is to entertain and Kos sucks at that.

Its really not “fantasy” like fantasy football or baseball. Really its just a “you pick ‘em” type thing where you pick who wins, what round, how they win etc… you get points for picking who wins, what round, how.

Plus they also have a wager section where you can bet on the fights (you get $1,000 to start with). Its just a fun thing to do with predictions.

ya, i never liked Kos either, hes trying to cast himself as an mma villain like Tito. Just one of those guys you love to hate hehe, but hes taken his mma carreer very seriously and theres no doubt hes been living in the gym. Ofcourse that fight with Diego wasnt entertaining, but that was the whole point of his strategy, to make the fans boo so Diego would have to come forward. I think it was a great strategy man, unlike ive ever seen, because whos gonna sacrifice their popularity just to make the other guy move forward? Josh Koscheck. He had nothing to lose when he was fighting Diego, now he has nothing to lose vs GSP, I dunno how he does it, but he always puts himself where he needs to be. In terms of matchups atleast.. what happens if he beats GSP??? daaam Kos will be on top of the world, one more fight after that and its a definate title shot.

I have a funny story guys

first off all i live in ottawa Canada, pretty far away from Tito. A guy walks in wearing a team punishment shirt and when he came to the cash i asked him if it had anything to do with Tito. He said that it was Titos camp (which i already knew) and he said hed trained with him and he said Tito was actually a really Nice guy. Can you believe that? Tito a nice guys???

It was the wrong word to use, however, when I played football or when I promoted wrestling shows, we used the word “too white” all the time. It wasn’t ever meant as a racist thing (I’m white if you’ve never seen my chubby whiteness on myspace before). Exampe: “Damn, Kevin has two left feet in the ring. You can tell he’s white”

Not the best word to use, however, to say Kos meant it in a racist or bigoted way is very narrow minded.

And to correct Doc, Kos is half white. His mom is white, dad is black. I seriously doubt anyone who is mixed would feel any bad thoughts about the race of their mother.
