Man, what a lineup. We’ve got some free shows, some pay-per-views, some foreign shows. Anything and everything you could ask for. I don’t remember a month like this in MMA ever and I’m looking forward to it.

@Dr J
Thanks for the update, I almost forgot about the Elite XC.LOL….Not to get off the subject, but are there any numbers flying around about how much Wandi got for his 6 fight deal with the UFC?
@Ozzy,
Nope no specifics yet. We usually don’t find out the new contract numbers until the first time they fight and the athletic commission released the info.
Yea this month is going to be crazy! I’m off to Vegas for UFC 74 this weekend and it only gets better from there. Along with all the events you mentioned there are a couple of local shows here in Colorado I will be attending. Ring of Fire is having an event on the 15 that seems to have a couple of decent matchups. I’m really excited that MMA has taken over combat sports the way it has. The only boxing you see now a days is classics on ESPN2. This year was great and it’s only getting better. Now that the UFC has virtually every top 10 fighter we will see some amazing fights in the next few months. Even the Shotime subscription is finally paying off. Ninja vs Lawyler should be entertaining. Glad to see Diaz will be back in action also. Should be a fun month.
guys anyone
wheres MARK HUNT ,ALEKSANDER ,KHARITONOV,JACHIM HANSEN where are these guys going does anyone know?
I believe they are free agents now and can field offers from other promotions. I don’t think the Pride situation is completely resolved so some of them might have fights left from their old contracts. Hopefully things get resolved soon and we can see some of these guys in action again. Unless the UFC starts a super heavyweight division Hunt is going to have a hard time making 265 which is to bad because I was a big fan of Marks. I hope Hunt and the rest of the talented Pride guys find a good place to compete.
@Richard,
I believe all the ones you listed are free agents. As MAD said, Hunt won’t be able to fight in any of Zuffa’s promotions because he is over 265lb.
I have heard that Hansen has been in talks with Zuffa about signing with either the WEC or UFC.
haven’t heard anything regarding Aleks or Sergei.
i was wondering about hunt making weight and ufc better pick up one of the emelianakos and i love sergei hes intense .but a match i want to see is barnett vs fedor anyone else likes this match up
