Crazy Liddell got more than 1/2 of total payout and lost. Does this include bonus pay?

This includes win bonuses but not fight/KO/submission of the night bonuses.
you know who got what and how much?

The Griffin vs Tavares fight was fight of the night so an extra $40k a piece for Tyson and Thiago.
Forrest got submission of the night so an extra $50k for that. I can’t remember who got KO of the night, in fact they might not have even given out that bonus considering there were no KO’s all night

i heard somewhere that the bonus was for ko OR sub of the night but not both. let me know if im wrong cuz i wanna know too.
I thought Rua would have signed for a little more. I guess he doesn’t have the name recognition to demand more. Hope he straightens out what ever problems that caused him to preform the way he did. I have more respect for Forest now and might even forgive him for the crying incident. Good to see some of the other guys are making a little more. As much money as Zuffa is making now they can afford to pay these guys more.
@Dr. J
Do you know how many more fights Chuck has left on his current contract?

Not sure. I’d have to check into it. My guess would be 2 or 3 more.
I read that Houston Alexander has called out Mike Bisping. Very smart move…I think Bisping’s chin is very suspect and to KO a guy with his popularity would really help catapult Alexander to the higher echelon of the division. However, now that I think about it and all thats happened in the past week, fighting Bisping would really be a step backwards. I still don’t know exactly what to make of this guy. I don’t think he would be able to beat Forrest or Liddell, but maybe he should fight Shogun next. What do you guys think?
i dont see the UFC UK posterboy getting put in any match that he might catch a beat down in. as for Houston fighting Shogun that could be good and bad for the UFC no matter who wins. if Shogun wins he beat an up and coming, exciting fighter on a roll, if Alexander wins… well he beat Shogun. and it would add to the “oh my gawd hes awesome” factor hes building. if Shogun loses that would be two in a row to unranked guys and no matter what way you slice it people will sh*t on him for it. if Alexander loses he could lose too much of his hype. i think Alexander need to hook up with the best camp that will be willing to help him and spend the next year training and fighting “warm-up” fights and getting better and maybe someday he could be a very good fighter.
You don’t have to worry about Shogun losing his next fight, after his surgery Sunday he will be out until next year, he will def. be 100% for his next, he felt pressured to fight this one because it was his “debut”, but I don’t think he will endure another loss in pressure to fight with a major injury…

i hope that is the case because i would hate for the people that dont know better to start to think he can hack it in the big show.
Forrest sustained more “in fight” injuries than Shogun, Shogun is 23, he is still a kid, he got married 2 weeks before the fight to a model, he had a knee injury … he will come back and do well in my opinion..
@Kansas
yeah thats the way i see it too. i just wanna see Shogun back and doing what he does best and thats wrecking the guy across from him.
You and me both amigo
shogun looked bad real bad ,if he was hurt he should of pulled out of the fight

I agree Richard…. bad judgment on his part, thats what is means to be 23, full of Pride, and seemingly the best in the world, I could only assume he thought Forrest was “green” enough to get by even with an injury and the lack of training…. he was sorely wrong unfortunately…
