Leland Chapman Makes Pro MMA Debut – UPDATED

Submitted by Dr J on October 4, 2007 – 12:56 pm22 Comments

Leland ChapmanIf you have no idea who Leland Chapman is, that is perfectly normal and you can just skip this article. For those of you who share the same weird fascination with Dog the Bounty Hunter like I do, keep reading.

No Limit Fighting will hold their Brawl for it All even on October 20th in San Francisco, CA and the fight card will feature the professional MMA debut of Leland Chapman, Dwayne “Dog” Chapman’s son.

No Limit Fighting

But Leland isn’t the only attraction for this fight card; not by the least. Did I forget to mention that the fight card also will feature former UFC fighters Jeff Monson, Nick Diaz, Gabe Ruediger and Brad Imes as well as Charles “Krazy horse” Bennett, Reuben Villarreal, Mia St. John and Bo Cantrell.

If you have never heard of No Limit Fighting before now, don’t feel bad; neither had I. But this fight card is nothing to sneeze at as it features some excellent fighters. Granted the matchups might not be that even, but the names on the fight card are definitely deserving of attention. And, of course, the Dog himself will probably be there in attendance with Youngblood and Baby Lisa.

“Thus saith the Dog…”

** UPDATE **

Apparently, Nick Diaz was an interview gues on Sherdog Radio today and when asked about his fight on the No Limit Fighting card, Diaz replied that he had never anything about a fight on the card with Mark Moreno. This seems to make sense considering that Diaz just fought in the EliteXC and is probably still recovering from the staph infection he had at the time. Still, Diaz is a well-known pot-head and could just have easily forgotten about the fight (sarcasm). Doesn’t bode well for the No Limit Fighting show and their legitimacy.
