Yeah, not too much thought on Mayweather… he is the face of “Pugilism” but as far as fighting goes… he is not a fighter, he is a pugilist so I am not in to one trick ponies that know how to do 2 things… box and talk crap on people that could def. kick his arse…
Hey, I am sure Mayweather has a lot of fans, IN MEXICO… lol
Ya i read that about Mayweather, he wants a guaranteed 30 mil payday to fight mma LOL. If nobodys willing to pay Fedor 10 mil, why the hell would they pay Mayweather 30 mil?? hes obviously not serious about fighting mma, hes just talking out hiz azzz as usual.
UFC 79 *******
Mayweather for $30M? Good luck with that. What’s worse is that even if he does get the money, they’ll put him up against someone with a checkered record with no ground game that he’ll likely beat. The other guy MIGHT make $30K, and if he wins, another $30K; and Mayweather will still go home with 7 figures. It’ll be like the Mir/Lesnar crap all over again. They hyped up Brock Lesnar so high, gave him $250K to fight, and $200K to win (if he would have won, it likely would have been fight of the night for another $60K); whereas Mir made $40K to fight, $40K to win, and $60K submission of the night. A full $110K less than Brock made just for showing. Of course that’s a comparison to the going bankrupt, $350M in debt UFC; perhaps M-1 will be able to be more reasonable.
