World Extreme Cagefighting has officially announced their next event to be held February 13 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This will be the first time the WEC has held an event outside of Las Vegas, Nevada since Zuffa purchased the promotion. The fight card is scheduled to be broadcast live on the Versus network starting at 9pm EST and will feature three title fights.
WEC welterweight champion Carlos Condit will defend his title against Carlo Prater while lightweight champion Rob McCullough will face UFC veteran Jamie Varner. In the bantamweight division, champ Chase Beebe will face Miguel Torres in what should be an excellent fight.

This is awsome. I been waiting for a show in New Mexico. Condit is a good fighter and should retain his belt. My wife is a big fan of Rob McCullough and is excited to go. I’m going to search for tickets now chat with you guys in a while.

Sure I’ll have my digital camera with me and I’ll make sure to get some good pics. I’m glad they are starting to branch out to middle America finally. I’ve been waiting for an event to hit Denver but no major ones yet. This is the next best thing though as I was born and raised in New Mexico and it’s only about a 6 hour drive plus all my family lives there so I always have a place to stay. I’ll make sure to stay sober so I can remember the whole event.

Got my tickets Saturday. I was supprised that they are pretty cheap compared to UFC events. I got 5 rows from the floor mid cage for $115. Can’t wait till February now.
