Imagine how Mir feels, people still asking him if hes 100% since after the accident. Everyone makes mistakes man, the difference is, i dont have people reminding me about it every single day!
Anytime you hear Mirs name, the accident comes up lol. Thats fcked up man, like when Chuck lost to Jardine, all the interviewers ask how do you feel after losing to Jardine lol. Or when someone get KO, in the replay they ask, what were you thinking as that knee slammed into your jaw?

im liking Mirs attitude towards this fight hes not buying in to all the hype and he sounds like he doesnt think hes going to run over Lesnar. he keeps saying “i know Brock is real threat hes not just a pro wrestler TRYING to fight MMA” i hope he comes in good shape and ready to go.
anyone know if the arlovski obrian fight is offical?
i never think of any fight as completely official till they get weighed in the day before the fight anything can happen. i really hope we get to see Arlovski back in the cage but i like most of you are not happy hes probably fighting a lay n’ pray artist.
mmaweekly is reporting Arlovski vs. O’Brian at UFC 82 on the rumor section but the UFC website has nothing (sometimes they put all the fights up at the last min.) i would say they put it up there shortly after UFC 81 to start gaining hype.
andreis takedown defense is killer… i dont see obrian takin him down….
i hope your right it would suck to see Arlovski in another boring fight, win or lose.
my though is that arlovski is looking at it like he has nothing to lose…. so hell go in there with i need to crush this ***** and move on… *** the ufc…i think hell go in there with that attitude cuz im sure hes gonna leave the ufc… so hell performe like a beast cuz hed like to go out with a bang…
im a big fan of EliteXC and i wouldnt mind see Arlovski fight there. im hoping one day to see a rivalry between UFC and EliteXC about who has the better fighters, kinda like the old PRIDE vs. UFC rivalry.

i checked in like 1000 times on the weekend and this site was a ghost town. it always dies a bit on the weekend.
Well.. some of you guys need to start proselyting people with regard to this site.. other thing.. no big news in MMA right now.. the exit of Tito, the suing of Couture, all this testosterone drama is like WWE.. stupid.. I am waiting for the day when we can all sit down, have a cold drink and some food, and watch some good fights without wondering if our fav. fighters are gonna exit next month or get cut out of the loop cause of a couple boring or bad showings.. (all athletes go through tough times).
I think the Arlovski situation sucks, he deserves a 4 fight deal at 100k per fight in my opinion, he has the potential to win it all back, more than anyone right now I think, and they have screwed him.. and future fighters should “beware” of how the UFC works…
Couture, well thats his own fault, and partially the UFC’s because they only do whats best for the CORP not for the fans (usually – cant argue with them putting on Liddell vs Silva) so you know its like big corps.. they always provide the best jobs so you need them, but they never hesitate to screw someone at a moments notice…

and even with Liddell vs. Silva that was just as much about the money as it was the fans maybe even more so. they could have put that fight on 100 times over in the past (well it was more relevint no less) but the UFC wouldnt have made as much money. and as for Arlovski i said it for a while now they had to bury Anderi to build up Tim, you cant have two top guys around if they already fought 3 times.
sorry guys but as Kansas said, there really just wasnt any news at all this weekend. weekends are always slow but this one was completely dead.

If the rumors about Werdum turn out to be true i guess we’ll talk about it when its OFFICIALLY announced.

Jake O’Brien’s camp has confirmed that the fight has been signed.

obrain will not stamd with him… and i dont think aa will let him man hump him cuz hes not an out of shape slob like herring… so how will it end?
tough to call. O’Brien is coming off that near career-ending back injury. Jake’s wrestling is definitely better then Andre but Andre is no slouch on the ground. I think Arlovski wins it by KO first or second round.
