i think he means “I just don’t want to lose fights”.
Tim will EARN the respect of the fans when he stops backing up, jabbing, and winning decisions. it would be better for Tim to lose a tough decision then to win a boring one, at least the hardcore fans would say “he lost but the other guy couldnt make him quit.” Sylvia is starting to grow on me a bit and the reason is because he so layed back about the lack of respect he gets. even though Tim Sylvia is one of the best heavy weights in MMA today people say he sucks all the time and in interviews and such he doesnt even let it faze him.
