The Ultimate Fighter: Season 3 winner Michael Bisping will make his middleweight debut at UFC 83 against Charles McCarthy.
Bisping has previously fought four times in the UFC, all at light heavyweight. At UFC 78, Bisping suffered the first loss of his career against Rashad Evans and subsequently decided to drop to the 185-lb limit weightclass.
“Chainsaw” Charles McCarthy last fought at The Ultimate Fighter: Season 4 finale where he defeated Gideon Ray via submission in the first round. When UFC 83 rolls around this April in Montreal, Canada it will be a full 16 months between fights for McCarthy and only his second fight in the past 28 months.
