Last week we learned that Mark Cuban and his HDNet Fights promotion had entered the legal battle between Randy Couture and Zuffa, LLC. HDNet filed their own lawsuit against Zuffa to seek a judgement clarify Couture’s current contract status with the UFC.
Today, Adam Swift of MMAPayout.com is reporting that Couture has agreed to a contract with HDNet Fights that will come into effect with his current contract with Zuffa expires.
HDNet Fights’ contract with Couture will only become effective upon a declaration by the court that Zuffa’s promotional agreement is void, invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, or upon a declaration of the effective date on which Couture’s contract with HDNet Fights may begin without violating any provisions of his contract with Zuffa.
Swift states that if and when Couture’s contract with HDNet Fights begins, the promotion will seek to promote a fight against Fedor Emelianenko in Dallas, HDNet Fights’ hometown.
Good news for me considering I just had FiOS installed in my home today and now get HDNet.

Holy crap. This better be on pay per view….I will drop my cable provider and go to Dish if I have to in order to get this fight.
Man I just saw the Xtreme Couture Reality show online …. Kim Couture looks really young, self centered.. like the WHOLE thing was her.. she like is a cam hog.. I wanted to see fighters because Randy’s GYM is full of the best, but noooooo gotta hear Kim life biography, her dreams, her hopes, her favorite foods, and her makeup preferences …. well a little overdone there but, my lord man, who cares about… huh? whats her name? ahhh RANDY’S NEWEST GAL… hehe
