		<description>The shows actually have been pretty good now that they are done with the teams.

Its really too bad but I think 2008 will be the last year the IFL is around.  With the EliteXC signing with CBS and gaining a lot of momentum and the UFC still running strong they just cant compete. 

Being a public company, their investors will only let then bleed money for so long before canning the company.  I wouldn't be surprised to ProElite try to purchase them before the end of the year.</description>

		<description>Hopefully their TV deals help offset their live event loses. With only 1,606 tickets sold it seems like the IFL does'nt have much of a fan following. Even the WEC event I went to had about 4,500 people in attendance but I'm not sure how many of thoses were comp tickets. UFC fight night here in Denver sold out in a little over a month with 6,500 seats. With it selling out so quickly I don't think many are comp tickets. I hope with the sucess of this event they will return. Now that the IFL is being shown on HDnet I don't get to see many of their event so I don't know how they are doing now that they abandon the team concept.</description>
