Chuck Liddell vs Rashad Evans at UFC 85

Rashad Evans will step in to replace the recently injured Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and fight Chuck Liddell at UFC 85 in London this July.
Evans, winner of The Ultimate Fighter: Season 2, last fought at UFC 78 where he defeated Michael Bisping via split decision. For a while, it was assumed Evans would rematch with Tito Ortiz after their draw at UFC 73, but with Ortiz on his way out of the UFC after his next fight, the rematch never materialized.
Rashad Evans now moves onto what is easily the biggest fight of his career against the form UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. Liddell is, of course, coming off his big win at UFC 79 over Wanderlei Silva and will be looking to re-solidify his place among the light heavyweight elite.

Ken-Flo is gonna be to much for J-Lu (i think the loser should have to give up there nickname lol) i dont think Sherk will be able to lay around and cuddle with Penn for 5 rounds, Penns not going to let him man hump a win. i think you know who im picking in GSP vs. Tattoo i just hope GSP gives Serra that belly-flop-head-crusher move he did to Hughes cuz that was some funny sh*t. i dont know who to take in Forrest vs. Rampage but im leaning more towards Rampage.

why do you think Serra will win again? do you think it’ll go down like last time or do you think Serra will take it to the ground? i dont really see the upset twice, i think GSP is a strong enough of a wrestler to not get molested on the ground and his stand up is way better as long as he can stay out of bad exchanges. i agree with you on Penn and Page. as for Tyson not being in video games i think it might have something to do with the convicted rapist thing.

UFC 85 will be a ****** card other then the fact that THE ICE MAN will be fighting on that card thats the only reason i’m renting it

UFC 85 is not the best card they’ve put together in a while, but its not going to be horrible. i find these cards with the lesser known fighters on them turn out to be some of the most entertaining cards. look at TUF6 finale that was an awesome night of fights and no one on that card was considered a top ten guy.

I think UFC 85 is so far okay, however I think the main even is set to be a dud simply because it will be ‘a version’ of Tito vs Chuck, so I can already see the results, the only take down GNP in the world that can really hurt Chuck is the take down of Couture, perhaps that of Rampage, (I really question that one) and of course FEDOR.. thats about it…
true enough. i see a decision win in Chucks future im starting to question his finishing power lately i dont know if it that he lost some power or everyone has figured him out. he couldnt get the job done in his last two fights and im thinking this next fight will be the same deal. as for the rest of 85 im thinking we’re gonna see some slugfests. Davis vs. Swick should be a banger, Kampman vs. Rivera should be a banger, Marquardt vs. Leites should be good, and Werdum vs. Vera will interesting at least. just my thoughts anyway.

kimbo would win… kimbo could beat sylvia or arlovski or kongo or any striker… the only way kimbo will lose is by submission….. no one will knock him out
i think there doing the right thing with Kimbo by giving him guys that he is able to beat. just because hes fighting for a bigger promotion doesnt mean he HAS to fight big names. if Kimbo is going to make a serious run for a title hes got a lot of work to do, and fighting a vet like Buentello right now is a bad choice. next year at this time and after a few more fights he will be ready for the Headhunter.
