Frank Shamrock has never been one to mince words about any subject; especially not when it comes to his brother Ken Shamrock.
According to a recent interview with the guys at MMAMadness.com, Frank says that Ken used steroids his whole life.
MMA Madness: Steroids have become a huge issue in mixed-martial-arts. Do you think that the steroid-testing policy that’s currently in place is adequate?
Shamrock: No, no I don’t at all. The reason why I don’t is because none of the steroid policies that are in place are put in place by the companies themselves. The policies in place are the ones that are put in are put in by the commissions and they are only there to protect the state because of the state’s liability. If the UFC and everybody else were very serious about steroids, they would implement their own steroid policies. And I know this because 1) I’ve never done steroids, but I’ve seen people do it and 2) in my business and on my team there is a no-steroids and no-drugs policy and we still see tremendous success and tremendous growth.
MMA Madness: You say that you’ve seen guys take steroids. Could you maybe give us any names?
Shamrock: Sure, my brother Ken did them his whole life.
MMA Madness: Really?
Shamrock: Yeah. Why do you think that his mind is so fried? Why do you think he crumbles before the big fights? He’s got no psyche. He let steroids give him a false sense of security and the moment that stuff is gone he’s no longer superman. He’s just a regular man. But without all the hard work and without all the belief in himself that a regular man would have if he got up to that point. He’s the only guy that I’ll tell on, because he’s always in trouble anyway.
Wait a second Frank, you’re trying to get me to believe that Ken Shamrock — KEN SHAMROCK — did steroids?!?!?!

lol i like the part about Frank saying “I’ve never done steroids, but I’ve seen people do it” sounds a lot like me saying ive never smoked pot but ive seen people do it. say what your trying to say Frank ive done steroids in the past but not anymore, that way we might believe you. like give me a break man, your telling me you’ve had more then one fight with a bad injury and you NEVER took roids to help you get through it? yeah ok! and as far as Ken goes i’ll bet his testies are the size of green peas lol i’ll i gotta say is WWE.

Doc, i dont think he meant it to be new information, i think hes just stirring the pot for their future matchup, thats definately one im looking forward to. Actually im always interested to see Frank fight, but the problem is WHO he fights. He obviously outclasses Ken, so its not a great match.. but better than nothing.
Dam.. i wish we could see Frank vs Anderson Silva hehe, i like Frank but from what Silva has shown us lately, he looks unstoppable.
im still not convinced Frank is the fight he was in the past and im gonna say till i see him dominate ANYONE the way Silva has then im gonna have to say he would stand no chance against Anderson. even a nobody like Leben doesnt get worked over like he did against Silva unless there fighting someone as good as Silva, Frank hasnt shown that kinda of skill since who know when.
I dunno RJ, Frank has looked pretty good to me man, his standup skill has improved by leaps and bounds. That doesnt mean i think hed beat Silva, I DONT lol let me make that clear, but thats a fight that i would love to see happen.
