According to an entry made on his personal MySpace page, Marvin Eastman will be fighting Drew McFedries at The Ultimate Fighter 7 finale.
The “Beastman” says McFedries will be his next “victim” and also noted that the fight will be the final fight on his UFC contract. Eastman’s contract was included when the UFC purchased the WFA.
Eastman’s last fight was at UFC 81 where he defeated favorite Terry Martin.
Drew McFedries last fought at UFC Fight Night 12 where he lost to Patrick Cote via KO in the first round.

i predict Marvin ends up in a coma before the end of round 1. i like Marvin but sometimes i wonder if his management team is trying to screw him over, a dude with a glass jaw should not accept a fight with a knock out artist unless totally necessary. even if Marvin beats McFedries it doesnt move him up the ladder enough to risk getting knocked out again IMO. if i was Eastman i would have been asking to fight Grove, there probably in the same league.
He did go well into the second round with rampage, who proceeded to KTFO Liddel in the very next fight in under two minutes. I don’t think McFedries is anywhere near the striker rampage is, even on a rampage bad day.
true enough, im still picking McFedries in the first though. i like McFedries though so maybe thats also a factor in how i see that fight going.
Eastman is a non factor in the UFC at this point, he is just finishing his contract, I don’t see him fighting in the Premier MMA Organization beyond this fight maybe one more if his contract denotes it, problem I have with him is if they are letting guys like Arlovski and Sylvia go, it makes no sense that they would keep a guy like Marvin around he is a can for guys to make a name on.. I wish that Wandy had gotten a piece of Eastman like Rampage did to warm up on before Chuck, think things would be different but hey, spilled milk gotta move on..
Course… Marvin does look a little like 50 Cent so… you know you could just pretend that a hardcore rapper was in the octagon and throwin down right.. cept he keeps getting his can kicked and he doesn’t have enough bling!

I’m leaning towards Eastman in this fight, though I must admit ther eis no better opportunity for Mcfedries to get right back in the mix with this fight. He has to win this fight, or be forgotten.
