While we first confirmed this news over a month ago (even though no one wanted to believe me until Ben Rothwell confirmed the news himself), the new Affliction promotion officially announced the signing of Andre Arlovski at a press conference yesterday.
Loretta Hunt of Sherdog.com was able to interview Arlovski and pick his brain regarding the last few months.

Andre is classy as always but somewhat uninformative in this interview. Maybe hes better off in Affliction considering they have almost all the HW talent in mma! I think the UFC is foolish to slack on the HW div. theyre focusing on the LWs probably because it makes for faster paced fights, but in reality everyone likes to see the bigboys. Stupid move zuffa..
I don’t think the UFC is turning into a crap org.. I think they are making cuts here and there that are necessary, heck at my job today they cut 5 people, you don’t produce then you get cut, thats evolutionary economics and the UFC is a business first…. that being said I think Andre was a good investment, but hey, if he was asking for championship money, like Tittyo then they have to do what they have to do.. like Cro Cop.. cannot pay a guy that kind of money and he gets KO’ed by a nobody or beaten by ANOTHER nobody… if Wandy hadn’t beaten Jardine, it would have been the beginning of the end for him too.. thats just that…
