Its either a TV deal or sanctioning in NY .. whatever .. i voted for the sanctioning choice, but hey I really think its a TV DEAL .. he has to get in there because I know Dana isn’t going to let another group do it and find their success there and make the UFC a relic of yesterday..

When is this announcement supposed to come?
sometime this week,i dont think theres a real day yet,but it better not be stupid.
I think that there is no way period that there will be a fourth Ortiz-Shamrock fight period. Something I would love to see him announce is that Urijah Faber is moving up from Bantam to Lightweight to come over to the UFC because there is basically nobody left in the WEC and since WEC and UFC are both owned by Zuffa it could happen unless there are some more complictated contract issues that I am unaware of.

nether Tito or Ken are under contract by Zuffa any more and UFC:90 the final, final chapter, yeah im guessing joke. like everyone else im really hoping Dana doesnt let us down with some stupid asss news that doesnt mean sh*t to anyone but him. i can see it now Dana is going to get up at the podium and blast a nasty **** into the mic and yell gottcha lol.

Yeah I kinda figured that it was a joke one but wasn’t certain. My bad on the Faber being Bantam but substitue Featherweight for Bantam and my point remains that there is no one left for him in WEC and he needs to make the move up to lightweight
i still think Faber is to small for the current group of light weights in the UFC. Fabers game is mostly about takedown, control, and ground’n'pound and thats going to be real tough when everyone in the division is bigger then him, Sherk couldnt take Penn down and i think Sherk has better takedowns then Faber and i think Penn has better standup then both. so if you compare Faber to the champ of the light weight division he doesnt seem to match up well, of course i could be completely wrong and i kinda hope so for Fabers sake because he a good fighter and a class act.

All I know is, this better be the biggest f–ing LEGITIMATE announcement that we’ve ever seen, because if it falls through and fails (much like many of the recent UFC deals), the UFC is going to start having a much harder time keeping their numbers high. Whether anyone liked it or not:
1)The EliteXC show was on everybody’s lips, people I know who aren’t even fans of the sport were talking about it.
2)This upcoming Affliction card is hands down, one of the best overall cards I’ve ever seen.
3)The UFC seems to be relying on their reality show fighters too much.
Dana better wake the hell up and start worrying more baout these new up-and-coming promotions. I am 100% buying the Affliction event, and if it means forgoing a UFC event that month, it’s a no brainer for me.
Ohhh.. guyyyyys.. I hope this isn’t it but could they be either A. Merging with the WWE or B. Signing a bunch of Prof. Wrestlers on with the UFC, perhaps doing a combo show with MMA fighters vs Wrastlers? Dana is making the announcement WITH Brock Lesner and I recall a BUNCH of WWE guys being at Brock’s premier so .. uhhh hope not.. just speculation
yeah i could see a merger with the WWE and/or Vinny Mac, Dana did call Vince a genius business man. i really hope if that is the case that they leave the fighters to the fighting and wrestlers to the acting and they never share a show, if i have to sit through the Rock vs. Stone Cold to watch Nog vs. Mir or something i will lose ALL respect for the UFC as a legit MMA promotion.

lmao yeah but that just the undercard lol i dont have to follow weight classes so my co-main will be Liddell vs. Tim Sylvia (i’ll paint my Cheick Kongo white if need be) and they’ll just stand there waiting for the other to throw so they can counter, again with me booing for 25 minutes (by the way all my fights are title fights take that UFC) i havent figured out my main event yet but i will announce it soon. worry not my friends this mega event will be awesome lol. and you have no idea how much i was laughing while writing, i amuse myself so well lol.
Well this isn’t the actual “announcement” scheduled for Thursday , but this is pretty lame I think. I could care less about playing with action figures or “collecting them”, as what they are supposed to be. RatHer than this bs, WHEN THE HELL IS THE VIDEO GAME COMING OUT ALREADY? Amir, ya ive been wondering that for a while, i read they were supposed to make an announcement about it so many times, but it never happened.
The thing is, in the end good games take time, im sure they could drop it right now if they wanted to, and it would probably suck, but what would be the point.. I figure let them take their time and make a halfway decent game, because lately games have been really halfassed and if they pull that sht with this UFC game im gonna be pissed!
gotta give Dana White credit, the guy has 20million irons in the fire, his job must be seriously time consuming and a huge strain on him personally, I mean think about it.. he RUNS THE UFC ON A SHORT STAFF… geesh.. they do shows internationally now, and have at least ONE PPV A MONTH… along with TUF.. MERCHANDISE DEALS, he has to kiss butt with the state AC’s to gain commissioning for MMA, has to negotiate who stays, who goes, keep it entertaining AND profitable so it doesn’t tank like the IFL, or BODOG.. I mean for as much as I complain, where would we all be if the UFC weren’t around?????? .. SERIOUSLY THINK ABOUT THAT… Since Dana and the Fertittas came along… yeah.. its been pretty good..
true dat… but as long as someone is in the spot light there is going to be haters trying to bring them down. people are going to be hyper critical of Dana no matter what he does, including myself. but in the end your absolutely right, we probably would be here on this site chatting about MMA if Dana and the brothers didnt help the sport to grow to this point.
