hey Doc did i send you the link to this video? i came across it the other day and i was going to send it to you but i dont remember doing it… there was another one from someone else calling out Kimbo but i just cant remember who it was now lol.

guys, do we really ant to see Monson or Lindland submit Kimbo? i mean, barring a lucky punch, its pretty much a 1st round submission. These guys are both world champs and they feel the need to call out someone whos still pretty much an amateur fighter.
Obviously theyre trying to get paid and i dont blame them for that, from their perspective, Kimbo is taking their money and their fame.
Its just weird when you see 10 year MMA legends begging for a fight with an amateur newcomer to the sport. How long has Kimbo been training now? 2 years? not even..
To be honest these fights dont interest me, i already know Kimbos getting submitted, what i want to see is Kimbo fight a higher caliber STRIKER whos not over the hill (Tank).
Kimbos got the KO power and a great chin, lets put both to the test!

Semmy Schilt too, dam, i never noticed but he fought 9 TIMES in 2006, 6 Times in 2007 and hes on a 12 fight win streak! WOW!
yeah it is a bit weird to see real vets riding Kimbos beard trying to get the light to shine on them, sad really from a hardcore fans prospective. Kimbo has entertainment value and thats why he gets the attention he does but people are trying so hard to kill the myth. but thats just what it is a myth, he is an MMA nobody as far as top 100 fighters go but people are dead set that they need to expose that. if these fighters were not worried a Kimbo at all the wouldnt even speak his name, get over it boys hes a giant black man with a huge beard who used to video street fights and now hes someone you can count on to get in the cage and throw bombs till someone drops, he record is 3-0 but it might as well 0-0 because it doesnt matter hes not going to be a top ten fighter anyways, he there to entertain you thats it so just sit back and be entertained or shut it off, sh*t man not EVERY fight has to have something to do with a title its ok to watch MMA for the fun of it, remember fun?
haha ya i agree with everything you just said RJ, the real MMA fans know whats up, i think the problem is nobody else knows. Thats why you got Kimbo on the cover of ESPN magazine and the fighters are all pissed off about it.
Looks to be a point of pride for the fighters and obviously the money is a big factor too. MMA fighters are not paid based on skill, it based on marketability, Gatties will say then why did they sign the contract blah blah… but the thing is, these kids are not being offered good contracts. We all know the UFCs business tactics, its my way or the highway, you dont like the contract, dont sign it kid, get the fck out of my office.
Only certain guys like Randy and Fedor are able to partially dictate what happens in the terms of the contract. And we all know what happens when you dont bow down, you get blacklisted. Whens the last time you saw a Tito, Randy or Shamrock fight on unleashed?
I swear man, they should start teaching contract law in the dojos, now THAT BEING WELL ROUNDED LOLOL sorry..
you cant be more well rounded then have a black belt in everything including contractual laws, except maybe if you were also a knitting ninja too lol.
