I have high speed, but drive a corolla.. so yeah.. my dad complains but has a 28k new car.. his choice and my choice, he looks at his shiny car in the driveway all weekend while I can actually afford to DRIVE mine.. lol

I also drive a Corolla, but my cost of living here in NYC is about triple of what it must be in…KANSAS? YUP…I probably pay double for milk, bread, groceries, tolls, gas, and about a hundred other things…so yes, I do think the economy is pretty shi–y right now…
Yeah but the wages and earnings match.. it really boils down to what you do with what you have not how much you have most of the time.. I have a friend who makes 1/3 more money than me but lives much poorer.. Don’t shoot my for my opinion Amir, sorry your life sucks so bad right now… at least you have a reliable Japanese care man.. life could be worse, you could be driving a FfffFORD..

well a least you guys can say you have a car lol, i HAD an ‘02 Ford Focus and that was all fine and dandy except i only had it for a year (bought used) before it ended up a useless hunk of metal in my driveway (the computer system died) and with the cost of living there will be no replacement for it in the future. keep your heads up lads, like i always say to my wife “no matter how bad thing are today, they will always seem much better tomorrow.”

Would St. Pierre vs Penn be a good idea? Thats the question at brawl sports… Dana White now says if Pierre gets through Fitch then yes it will happen… you guys keeping up with this… this will be huge… big as Liddell v Silva I think.. well not that big in terms of having waited for it this long, but as far as talent match ups go, this is like a NUKE..
Im with BJ, it seems as if im always against GSP, but i like the guy, hes a great fighter, its just that im a bigger fan of the guys he ends up fighting. Like with Hughes, then BJ, i was with GSP when he faced Serra, but we all know what happened there.
Hes the #1 170 pound fighter in the world, but im just a huge BJ Penn fan, gotta stick with the prodigy on this one. Plus he handed GSP an asswhoopin last time even though GSP won on points with his takedowns..
I agree on all counts there BV.. love BJ’s game.. and Rush’s for that matter but I just think the BJ will win.. i think after round 1 he will get into Pierres head Rush’s mental game will wane… just me
i dont how to call this one, you all know im a huge GSP fan and not the biggest BJ Penn fan but Penn has really turned it around in the last little while. if Penn can pull it off this time it will prove to me that he is one of the greatest fighters of all time. being one of the best is more then being really good at something, you have to be able to prove to people your that good when its time to prove it and in MMA that means your going to have to work your asss off before the fight even happens AND work your asss off during the fight, lets see if BJ can continue to work his asss off when the worlds not watching him.
He can.. and he will.. and GSP needs to worry because securing victory over the old guard of the division who also lost to an up and comer, and then having LOST to the guy before him on to beat Serra on the rolling streak after Hughes, yeah fighting BJ is second only to having to face Anderson Silva at a catch weight. Both these guys have to keep working.. both have a “talent” for slacking off and taking elongated vacations between seemingly easier fights.. so yeah GSP did it too and we saw him get knocked out same as Penn gassing in the fight with Hughes.. I give the fight to Penn simply because on the ground….. he wins….. standing up… we already know… he wins…
I got my stuff yesterday in the mail. Both the book and the DVD, The Doc is on the ball! Thank you!. The dvd is awesome, I’m an official mma nerd now, since I own an ADCC dvd. The BJ Penn book is unreal in it’s detail. I look forward to trying some moves out on the neighborhood kids…lol…….I’m kidding……….mostly.

Got my BJ book also. Great book with lots of detail. Thank Doc I’m in the process of reading it now. I’m going to try some of this stuff on by little brother. My jitz is coming along good and alot of the advanced moves aren’t far out of my reach. Good to hear BJ’s pointo of view when it comes to fighting. If him and GSP do rematch it will be one of the greatest fights in MMA history. With BJ’s new found dedication to training and GSP being the monster he is it should be a great fight. Hope it happens.
