Affliction has fired back at the UFC’s attempts to stifle their debut Affliction: Banned fight card this Saturday night.

The UFC hastily put together the UFC Fight Night 14 card to go head-to-head for free on SpikeTV with the Banned fight card on Pay-Per-View.

In an interview with MMAJunkie.com yesterday, Affliction VP Tom Atencio said the PPV was being expanded to four hours and will now feature eight bouts. The three bouts on on the PPV card will appear on the FoxSportsNet portion of the fight card instead of just the two fights previously schedueld for FSN.

Here is the new line up for Affliction: Banned this weekend.

Pay-Per-View Card

  • Fedor Emelianenko vs Tim Sylvia
  • Andrei Arlovski vs Ben Rothwell
  • Pedro Rizzo vs Josh Barnett
  • Mike Whitehead vs Renato Sobral
  • Fabio Negao vs Matt Lindland
  • Antonio Nogueira vs Edwin Dewees
  • Mike Pyle vs JJ Amrose
  • Justin Levens vs Ray Lazama

FoxSportsNet Card

  • Paul Buentello vs Aleksander Emelianenko
  • Terry Martin vs Vitor Belfort
  • Mark Hominick vs Savant Young

good move if your a fan, hopefully they can set the new standard and we’ll start getting 4 hour shows from now on. i like how this thing is playing out: biggest heavyweight card probably ever, i’ll raise you Anderson at 205lbs., i’ll see your Anderson and raise you a 4 hour p.p.v. ok UFC its your turn what are you gonna give me for my time lol. i hope Affliction has the money to go head to head with UFC and they one up each other till i got TUF cast members coming to my house waiting on my friend during pay per views lol.
