Critics love to bash Mixed Martial Arts and say the sport is too violent and the only people that enjoy it are blood-thirsty, backwoods wackos.
Really? Hope none of those critics ever watch baseball. Looks like the fans at last nights Dayton Dragons vs Peoria Chiefs game were completely appalled at the fisticuffs. Baseball fans are so much more sophisticated…

This isnt really an example of violence in sports, this was an incident. Fistfighting is not actually a part of baseball, looks like there was some discrepancy about a call or something and a bunch of immature idiots decided to brawl.
A better example would be Hockey where fights happen almost every game and they actually consider it a part of the game. Something happens and a player gets upset and theyre “allowed” to fight another player. Ive always been against fighting in Hockey, ofcourse i like to see fights, but to me its a matter of sportsmanship. How can you have guys FIGHTING in a sport that has nothing to do with fighting? and ALLOW it! It really sickens me…
If thats the case, they should allow it in every sport, like if Mike Weir is a few strokes behind Tiger, should he be allowed to take a 9 iron to his dome? obviously not..
An actual case of a violent sport would definately be football… in my opinion a 300 pound guy blindsiding you and tackling you at the knees crushing your bones and ending your career is pretty violent. Ofcourse nobody has a problem with that..
People who call mma brutal are obviously uneducated about the sport..
a while back i seen a hbo special on old football players and how beat up they were some could barely walk or even remember there names.In almost every sport u take a risk,its just more noticeable in mma.

well i dont think anyone is gonna go for coleman at all but if shogun gets beat hes in real trouble,but im saying rua by tko in second.The fight im starting to get anxious for is the bisbing vs leban fight its gonna be a war.
Richard, you gotta factor in the fact that this fight will be taking place at HW, i know Coleman is an old **** but i really dont know what could happen in that fight. I think someones getting hurt, i still think theres some bad blood there and judging by colemans age and Shogun moving up, i really think we will see another Injury stoppage.
About Leben vs Bisping, i think those guys are both looking for the KO and we already seen what Lebens chin can take but i think Bispings chin hasnt really been tested yet. Someones getting KTFO in that fight, i think Leben is gonna take it, even if Bisping decides to take it to the ground, Leben has enough defense to stop the shot and keep it standing. Should be very exciting tho..

As a side note after Elite i decided to switch over to watch the Cotto vs Margarito boxing match. Lets just say i didnt get past the first round, i was bored to tears, i dont even know who won.. dont really care either..

Let me be the first person in the world to say.. i am NOT in love with Gina, sure she looks good, but shes not THAT hot. Ill say this, Gina is the hottest female mma fighter that i know of. Unlike some other attractive female athletes like Anna Kournikova, shes actually very good at what she does, shes at the top of the food chain in womens mma, so shes not just a pretty face.
First of all i want to say, i dont think the hottest woman in the world is a celebrity, not a chance in hell. The hottest woman in the world is probably just a regular person walking around somewhere going about her daily life dropping the jaws of her co-workers, peers, etc..
Which celebrity do i think is the hottest? Its really subjective to personal tastes so i wouldnt say shes the hottest, but shes the hottest in my eyes atleast. I happen to have a thing for asian women, that being said, i would probably have to say Kelly Hu.
She also has a blackbelt in a variation of Shotokan Karate and from what ive read shes an amazing fighter. Though i definately wouldnt want to see her getting punched in the face, it would make me sad hehe..

Besides the audio battles theres also a text section for people without mics or who just dont feel comfortable battling in audio. Or its good for just listening to battles if you want.. also theres a tracks section, tracks are way better than the pop junk you hear on the radio, thats mostly what i use it for these days. Ive long since retired from “battleing” plus its kind of a conflict of interest for a Moderator to battle.. though that doesnt stop some people hehe..
yeah im reading some of the text battles right now, you never know i might try to come up with something. and i like the tracks section there some cool sh*t there, that one guy you know John J has some good sh*t. that whole mixed tape you sent me too is awesome i still listen to it all the time.

heh nice, ya John J has got alot better, i talk to him almost everyday. Everyone has that friend thats so into music and nothing else, JJ is that guy, he must have a few hundred tracks and collabs by now. I think he makes tracks while he sleeps hehe.
