Affliction officially announced their second fight card over the weekend. Affliction: Day of Reckoning will take place on October 11 in Las Vegas, NV.
Originally, it was rumored that the WAMMA heavyweight title would be back on the line as current champion Fedor Emelianenko was expected to fight former UFC heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski. However, Fedor will not fight on the card, most likely due to his hand injury. Instead, the main event will be a heavyweight showdown between Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett.
A full press conference is scheduled for this Wednesday to make further fight announcements. Matt Lindland is expected to fight Vitor Belfort, and Renato Sobral is rumored to be fighting Tito Ortiz.
