first and foremost if you are neglecting an MMA show based on there not being at least one of the three fighters you mentioned you ARE missing out on some very good and entertaining fights. and as far as the Lesnar "dance" after the fight goes, any other time i would agree with you in saying "it was just hype, nothing personal" but in this case you wrong, Herring didnt say anything to the media to hype the fight really (im not trying to make excuses for Lesnar but..) it was what he said behind closed doors to the UFC management that got Brock worked up. you should take Richards advice and check out some old PRIDE and any other MMA for that matter, trust me it'll be worth your time. there are hundreds of fights not involving Lesnar, Liddell, or Rampage worth seeing, shoot there are hundreds of fights involving guys you've never heard of worth seeing. if you only ever eat T-bone steaks then you may never know how good a pork chop can taste.

hmm.. i read your comments and it sounds like your a bit of a newer MMA fan.

I mean, saying that the only guys who interest you in the UFC are Chuck, Rampage and Lesnar???

Any mma fan would have alot to say about that, but i dont think theres much point. Your obviously a big fan of Brock Lesanr, tells me that the UFC is doing a pretty good job building its fanbase.

I suggest you keep buying ppvs and you will probably start to like some of the other fighters, because theres ALOT of them.

About Maia and McDonald.. i thought it was over in like the 1st min of the fight. Even with an 8" reach advantage Jason decides to shoot on Maia and take it to the ground LOL! WHY MAN?? Like Rogan said the guys were still dry and thats the easiest time to get the submission. Maia slapped on that triangle and i have NO IDEA how Jason sat in there for so long without going out, i guess he made a little space for blood to flow or something. Credit to McDonald for lasting as long as he did, plus we saw some GREAT GnP by Maia, no doubt because of his work with Wandy, plus he threw a few knees in the clinch aswell.

I thought that should have been fight of the night personally.

Richard, it was BJ who came in after the title fight, he challenged GSP to a fight saying "lets make this fight happen", etc.. GSP said he would love to have that fight, he never ducks anyone, he wants to fight the best, etc..

About Brock, i know what you mean, have you ever seen some have a fighters back for 15 min and not even attempt a sub? hehe. The thing is he doesnt have the skill to submit Heath, what they taught Lesnar were a few "safe" positions so he could use his wrestling, be safe and at the same time be in a position when he could land a few shots. That way with a little GnP and all the takedowns, Brock wins the decision and thats what happened.

Gotta hand it to him though, he stuck to the gameplan, didnt get too cocky and he just put a HUGE feather in his cap beating Heath.

And how bout that right hand?? DAAAAM.. respect to Herring for surviving that thing.. if that was Mir he would have probably been KO.

Hell ya, very entertaining fights last night, though there were a few decisions and its always great to see a finish, but even though we didnt get to see the finish much last night, still very good show.

Good call by Dr.J picking Lesnar, he improved by leaps and bounds compared to his fight with Mir and those ridiculous little hammerfists. My buddy was saying Lesnar by flying knee and Borck even threw it right at the start of the 1st LOL i laughed for a second, THEN Lesanr landed that big right hand i jumped to my feet and spilled a bowl of cheezies LOL, Holy shit was that exciting!! Skills or no skills that guy is fun to watch in the cage.

GSP had one of those indestructible performances man, WOW. He just looks bigger and better and badder than ever. Hes rocking the all black now, before he seemed like just an incredible martial artist, now hes like a killer man, seriously. From the get go he owned Fitch on the wrestling and broke him down mentally with that. Then he beat him up on the ground which was also really demoralizing, then he beat him up standing and knocking Fitch down a few times. Oh man, in the later rounds Fitch was in his corner looking straight down at the mat and you could just tell, he knew there was nothing he could do, he was already beaten.

Much respect to Fitch though that he didnt give up and he went the distance with the champ. Like GSP said to him after the fight, this loss might be the best thing that ever happens for Fitch, i think hes gonna be reinvigorated by this.
