completely off topic, but what ever here goes:

there is a link over there -> from Bloody Elbow that says "Quote of the day: boxing matters in mixed martial arts" so i check it out and its a little piece about "even in the octagon, what separates the good UFC fighters from the bad ones is their striking ability." and there quote is coming from an online news source called the Londoner. now none of this means anything to anyone really, but for me this is drudging through old waters because its the start of a new generation fighting an old rivalry. let me explain: before i learned of this new thing called NHB (no holds barred) that eventually turned into MMA i was a boxing fan and fierce competitor, but very soon after boxing became obsolete (to me at least) and i was labeled as a turncoat by my peers when i started to compete in underground NHB tourneys. the reason this means anything to me is because the Londoner is from my home in London Ontario Canada, and with the new HardKnocks (home of team Tompkins) opening across the street (i can literally look out my bedroom window and see it) i though all was well in London, but now with Premier Fitness starting there boxing program it seems the boxing elitists are back and the city will be split again. i just hope this time around those involved in the rivalry are a bit smarter then back in the day because i dont want my sons to have to deal with the same crap i did as a teen, those times were not the greatest and i have the criminal record to prove it.

lol most of the time you say someone has a big head your talking about there ego, i guess Tito took that to heart lol. its funny Tito used to be a big draw, USED TO BE. someone should really tell him that his stock has dropped some because the guy still believes hes got what it takes to be the big money main event. he brings up the fact that the Tito vs. Chuck rematch was the biggest selling p.p.v. of all time but would it have sold as much if he wasnt fighting Liddell? could he match that number with Tito vs. Forrest? how about Tito vs. Babalu as a main event?

Ya your right about that Doc, we definately wont see Babalu vs Ortiz at Affliction 2. Besides this fight with Southworth, a big problem is in Titos negotiations with Affliction.

Was reading about it at mmaweekly, Tito described it as a “groundbreaking record contract” thats hes proposing. LOL what does that even mean? like its the highest paying contract in the history of mma? I havent seen what Tito is asking for anywhere, but it suggests that he wants to be a part of the actual promoting process.

Sounds to me like Tito is trying to install himself as some kind of partner in Affliction, and they dont like it, who would? Like if you hire someone in your business, your looking for an EMPLOYEE not a PARTNER.

From what ive read, they doubt that Ortiz will be on the Affliction 2 card, and in my opinion, i doubt we will see him at Affliction at all.

I forget who Southworth fought to win the belt, but I think it was vacant at the time. I know he fought recently to defend it against Anthony Ruiz.

I guess this means that Babalu and Tito arent fighting at the next Affliction card though.

So Babalu is fighting Bobby Southworth at the Strikeforce playboy mansion 2 show. When did Bobby become the LHW strikeforce champ? hmm.. and who did he beat to become champ? oh well, anyways, Babalu is gonna wipe the floor with him. He gets a bad name because he wasnt really much of a contender in the UFC, but hes a very good fighter, head and shoulders above everyone in these smaller leagues.
