im just wondering, they talk a bit about Florian getting his shot a BJ and i wanna know what you guys think? should they put the LW division on hold for Penn/GSP or should the give Florian a shot now? should Florian get the next shot? there is a good chance we will see Penn vs. St.Pierre for the New Years show, but i would almost rather see both Penn and St.Pierre defend there titles that night. if i was running the show i would give the winner of Alves/Sanchez a fight with GSP and give Florian (or Tyson Griffin if he can beat Sherk) shot at Penn both on the New Years show and hold off the Penn/St.Pierre super fight till July. why? because its very possible to make UFC 100 on July 4th, why not hype up a huge event for there 100th show(?)(kinda) on America’s day? UFC 100 could have another big fight like Liddell/Sliva 2 to really sell it and the rest of the card could be Ultimate Fighter dropouts and it would still sell big time. so anyways give me your thoughts on it all

RJ, actually from what ive read, GSP doesnt want to fight again this soon, i dont think he will be fighting at all on newyears. He said he wants to fight BJ later in 2009 so he can rest up and be 100% because hes been fighting and training nonstop for the past year.

Were almost defiantely gonna see BJ vs Kenny before we see BJ vs GSP again, so they might put that match together for newyears.

Also alot of people are saying it might be Rampage vs Wanderlei 3 at newyears, but those are just rumors. Some people are saying Chuck vs Forrest, but others are saying Chuck vs Shogun and ofcourse Nog vs Mir, i think we all know how that ones gonna play out hehe..

did anyone see elite xc challenger series last night?If u guys didnt u should try to catch them there always pertty good.Now is anyone else scratching there head on why is frank mir getting a title shot?Oh and last there is also a rumor that gsp vs bj on dec 27

yeah i think Mir is getting a title shot mostly because of lack of competition, who else is gonna fight Nog? and the rumor about GSP/Penn Dec.27 is not a rumor if Dana has anything to say about it. at the post UFC87 presser White confirmed they were going to put the fight together, but St.Pierre has also said he is going to take the rest of the year off. im wondering how long it will be before BJ starts saying St.Pierre is ducking him, you know Penn when he wants something he not going to bite his lip and wait, he WILL demand Georges fight him now. i do want to see GSP/Penn 2 but i also want to see Penn defend the light weight title soon too, so if fighting GSP means putting the LWs on hold for a while i would rather wait a while to see the rematch.

gsp should fight if hes not hurt hes only faught twice this year.

Richard you know the UFC champs only fight once every 6 months, unless they have an injury, then they wait even longer. Guys just like being the champ without having to defend it very often and i think thats what GSP is gonna do.. again.

He just got the belt back and defended it for the first time, hes not in any hurry to put that in jeopardy again soon.
