Once again, the UFC is hyping a “major” announcement that President Dana White will be making this afternoon.
Dana White will hold a media conference call later today to make a major UFC announcement. The call will take place at 3pm ET/12Noon PT. Check back with UFC.com for the full report.
Could this be the previously talked about announcement regarding the potential resigning of Randy Couture? We’ll find out soon enough.

yeah i can see it now, “the UFC is very proud to announce……… our new line of bubble baths and feminine hygiene products” lol.
i had a look around to see what i can dig up on this subject (i have to leave for work soon and it’ll suck having to call the wife long distance to find out what it is lol) and there is some rumbling about a WEC and PRIDE action figure line to go along with the upcoming UFC action figures (im not kidding this time sadly) if this is the “BIG” announcement the UFC is planning im gonna be some pissed.
on a complete different subject… today is my son Dakotas birthday, and my wife and i bought him some toys and cloths but i wanted to do something a little better then that for him, after days of coming up with nothing and him bugging me about this “special” present i had to figure something out. then i dawned on me that what better to do for a 6 year old MMA fan then bring him to meets some pro fighters (i thought this plan might backfire and Dakota be like “what ever Dad!”) so yesterday i brought him to meet Sam Stout and Chris Horodecki, he barely spoke two words the whole time we were there and only took one picture (he refused the pic with Horodecki) so i was thinking maybe i bummed him out a bit, boy was i wrong! when we got home i couldnt have slapped the smile off his face and everyone in the neighborhood with a set of ears knows who Kota met, it was awesome they spent a little while talking to him and show us around there new (unfinished) gym and even though when asked Kota told Chris that GSP was his favorite fighter, that was yesterday, today Chris Horodecki is #1 and Sam Stout is a very close #2 lol. i just though i would share that cool little story with everyone.
RJ, thats awesome man! i wish i was your kid lol. I know my dad would have never done something like that, i dont think we ever did anything together except work.
sweet. awesome gift idea. thats a great thing about being an MMA fan is that, for the most part, the fighters are awesome guys and love to interact with their fans
