i paid for see shamrock vs slice match, no another “no name” fighter.. guess ill throw in my 2 cents.. Shamrock wasnt scared, that guys brave to the point of stupidity he wouldnt hurt himself AND lose his purse because of fear.

Kimbo didnt take a dive either, it makes no sense to anyone for him to take a dive. He got caught walking into a punch, though it wasnt a hard shot, he moved into it and caught it right on the button. This stunned Kimbo for a second and caused him to lose his legs for a split second. This was right at the start fo the fight so Seth was at 100% power and stamina allowing him to jump on Kimbo and pound him out quick.

Tough break, but there wasnt any funny business going on.. thats my opinion..

im not sure how i feel about the whole “Shamrock hurt him self” thing, i guess it would benefit Ken to cut himself if his balls dropped off the day before and he realized he was going to get stomped by Kimbo and with his “pro” wrestling background im sure hes no stranger to slashing up his own face with a razor. on the other hand im sure he would have made a hell of a lot more money win or lose if he fought.

i dont think the cut was all that bad but the spot was a bad spot, one shot and it would have opened right up and impaired his vision. from the look of the cut it was something they would have called the fight on (if it happened during the fight) so of course the FSAC was not going to let him get in there, especially since he is an aging fighter who the athletic commissions believe could get seriously hurt even without coming in to the fight with a big disadvantage.

he may he injured him self on purpose … self inflicted the injury … i did believe him either amir… he said he was just light sparring… then the cut to the announcers and they said it was a headbutt… someone is full of **** and its elitexc and ken shamrock…

Dont forget though. It wasn’t Ken who pulled out of the fight. The Florida Athletic Commission is the one who looked at the injury and pulled him off of the fight card; Ken didn’t take himself off.
