Pat Miletich Returns to Action

On last night’s episode of Inside MMA on HDNet, it was announced that Monte Cox’s promotion Adrenaline MMA would hold their second official show on December 11 in Moline, IL.

The bigger news is that former UFC welterweight champion Pat Miletich will headline the event in a fight against Thomas Denny.

The “Croatian Sensation” has only fought once since 2002, a loss to Renzo Gracie in the IFL back in September of 2006. Since 2002, Miletich has mainly focused on training his team at Miletich Fighting Systems in Bettendorf, IA. During the earlier part of the decade, the MFS team was widely regarding as the best fight camp in the game with several champions and top MMA fighters.

Also expected to appear on the Dec. 11 fight card are former IFL fighters Ben Rothwell and Ryan McGivern, though an official opponent has not been named for either fighter.

it’ll be cool to see Miletich back in action, i just hope he still has what it takes to compete at a high level. its always good to see old favorites back in the ring unless they look like they dont belong in there anymore, then it ends up being a bit sad.

well its a good thing he not fighting BJ, GSP, or Anderson then. im not sure about his money or that it matters at all about how much money you have during a fight but i do know hes got some talent, i know hes not a former UFC welterweight champ or anything but hes not that bad.
