The Nevada State Athletic Commission has released their medical suspensions from the March 4th event. You can download the full PDF file here.
Here are some of the notable highlights:
- Franklin must have broken left hand cleared by Dr or no contest until 09/01/06, minimum suspension no contest until 05/04/06, no contact until 04/19/06
- Suspend Loiseau until 05/04/06
- Spencer Fisher must have nasal fracture cleared by Dr or no contest until 09/01/06, minimum suspension no contest until 04/19/06, no contact until 04/04/06
Nothing major regarding Georges St. Pierre so it looks like his nose wasn’t broken in his fight with B.J. Penn and the eye poke he suffered didn’t do too much damage. The Middleweight champion, Rich Franklin is going to be out of commission for a while; it should provide enough time for a new number one challenger to establish themself.
