I’m just proud of myself for recoginzing some of the names. I’m still cheering for the fighters that I like, though, not the specific teams.

  2. Dr J says:

Yeah, I don’t think fans of MMA are used to the team concept. We are used to having our favorite fighters and following their careers. MMA fans don’t have the baseball or football mindset of a team.

That and the fact that the teams names are pretty dumb. Sounds like a punch of local little league team names.

  3. Erin says:

If you are going with stupid animal names you really have to go all out and get really ridiculous, my suggestions were always either the rabid chipmunks or the ill-tempered sea bass.

  4. The Ill Tempered Sea Bass could so take the rabid chipmunks.
