The WEC has officially announced their fight card for this Friday nights WEC: Hitman show. All proceeds from the show will go to the Ryan Bennett Memorial Fund.
The 12 bout card begins at 5:30 p.m., with the event’s first five fights airing live on HD NET, where Bennett worked as a play-by-play commentator. The event is headlined by Wes Sims, who was very close to taking Kimo Leopoldo’s place against Bas Rutten at this past weekends WFA: King of the Streets event. Sims decided to honor his committment to the WEC and to his good friend and fight at the benefit show. Urijah Faber is also fighting Cory Cass in a grappling-only match.
