THE BEST ONE IS>>>> When Silva got knee barred by that Japenese guy in Pride. I saw that one on FSN. Swweeettt… That’s Anderson’s only lose.

  2. MAD says:

Yea that one was great. It was a heal hook that ended the fight but the flying scissor kick set up was awsome. It took Silvia totally by suprise and looked like it must have hurt because he was tapping real quick.

  3. Brian says:

Yea, a heal hook. Don’t know why I said kneebar. Silva was starting to take over that fight. The other guy was dominating on the ground, but could take Anderson down in the later rounds.

  4. alen says:

Anderson Silva actually has 4 loses in his carreer but that was his only loss in Pride or UFC.

  5. Amir says:

As far as best nap…hmmmm…a real tough one…so many amazing KO’s in 2006 alone.

For PRIDE, I would have to say Mirko’s KO left kick to Igor Vovachyen’s face. I’m sure we’ve all seen it in slow motion over and over and over again…lol.

UFC- I would rank Arlovski/Buentello pretty high cause it was so quick, crisp, and clean, no additional punches needed.
    Also, Franklin/Quarry

  6. richard says:

what about rampages ko powerball slam against arona that was a good one to and i think franklin/quarry fight had one of the cleanest kos ive ever seen

  7. richard says:

    i mean powerbomb

  8. Fuzznutz says:

I believe “nap” is reffering to chokes…since this is a submission thread guys.

Tap: Ryo Chonans flying scissors takedown with heel hook on Anderson Sylva (close second to Royce Gracie for choking out Ken Shamrock with Royce using his own gi sleeve or Royce for choking out Remco Pardoel using Remcos gi lapel)

Nap: Bas Rutten side choke from the bottom on a fighter in Pancrase back in the day

Snap: Frank Mirs armbar that visibly broke Tim Sylvias forearm

  9. Amir says:

A top nap for me was Monson’s North/South choke on Branden Lee Hinkle. Thats such an awkward position to firmly grab a neck.

  10. bvrasp says:

    BY FAR THE BEST SUBMISSION!

When genki sudo tapped out butterbean! oh man, that was awesome! after he bounced off the ropes and drop kicked him lol
