    OVERATED

  11. Cody says:

I guess you guys don’t know no about fighting. Rampage has fought tougher fighters, than any other 205 pounder in the UFC. Liddel has fought the same people he has beaten for the last two years. I guess you country and suburban boys don’t know nothing about the Brazilian Top Team or Chute Boxe Academy or the Red Devil Team, they’ll make the Militech fighting camp, and Pittbull fighting camp look like amateurs. Dana White needs to pull a Vince Mcman and buy all the fighting organizations so we can stop talking who’s the best. Let the best in the world fight in each weight class and then have a open weight class like back in the old days, that most of yall can shut up and learn the truth. America is not even getting gold medals no more in wrestling, boxing, and even basketball again, so what makes you think they got the best MMA fighters.

  12. Brian says:

Rampage IS a good fighter. I don’t see how he’s over rated. If you look at MMAWEEKLY.com, you’ll see he’s right above Tito Ortiz at like #8. That’s about right in my opinion. Him and Tito ARE at about the same MMA level. Tito took Liddell on better than anyone since Randy C. did back when he beat Chuck. So Rampage is not over-rated or under-rated. He’s just about right.

  13. Dennis says:

Cody you don’t know fighting… and you’ll be the country *** to shut the fuq up when Chuck spanks big mouth.

Brian, I also put Rampage right on the same level as Tito, all HYPE!

  14. Amir says:

This argument has come up over and over again here. If were arguing who has fought the cream of the crop fighters in the WORLD, Rampage wins that argument hands down against Chuck. But, if they faced off today, I think Chuck would win. It is way too early to tell, especially by Quinton’s first fight in the UFC. I think we all can agree that he was not the notorious Rampage we all knew and imagined. I think the main problem here is that the Octagon is so much bigger than a ring, therefore, allowing for a more stand-up exchange rather than a slam into a takedown. This is the main reason that we probably won’t see many trademark Rampage slams, cause his opponents have room to circle or run away from him. If he had to fight Chuck, it would be a stand-up affair and Chuck would probably catch him sooner or later.

  15. richard says:

see dennis u resort to talking sh*it when u have no other argument u can say rampage will beat chuck until they meet again but not until then until then rampage kicked the sh*it out of liddel and he will do it again hillbilly

  16. richard says:

cody i cant agree with u more as a mma fan i see u look past rampages big mouth and just see his mma record good for u and i cant wait to see rampage liddel 2

  17. TODD says:

yea this **** is too tell with this hole rampage thing, now as you all know that fight with eastman did show some ring rust, he was not as aggressive as he usally is and he was getting hit with punches that he normally wouldnt get hit with from what i seen in the past with his fights, but i think rampage know now that you jsut can clintch and just slam a mofo like you could before, because now sooooo many people are so diverse in jui jujisu he prolly can get submitted holdin somebody up, you never know, but i think if he wouldave fought chuck this past fight chuck wouldave prolly dropped him with one of them punches that eastman hit him with a couple of times. And like the last fight when he was on the ground with chuck, chuck couldnt get up because of them damn ropes so chuck unfortunatley was on the ground and couldnt get up resulting in a beating on the ground. But its all good we will see who will win, and prolly about the time they fight rampage would have gotten so many fans and chuck will have all his fans and that fight would be so great, then if they put on there another mega fight like arlovski and sylvia or sylvia cro cop or cro cop arlovski/sylvia, that would be spectacular

  18. Brian says:

Rampage vs Liddell. It WILL happen. The question is when? I think Rampage did fine in his debut. Eastman is no chump. And a MMA fighter DOES have to get used to the Octagon is general. Chuck and Quinton will meet before the end of the year. Chuck will win. And I know some of you will disagree, but Jackson won’t do as good as Oritz did… Unless he is a lot more cautious than he was against Eastman.

Let’s face it. No one has figured out Liddell the way Randy Coulture did. Randy used angles and made Chuck fight HIS game. Coulture vs Liddell 2 & 3 was the excact opposite. And since his first fight with Coulture, he’s made EVERYONE try all kinds of things, but in the end they still had to stand with him. And NO ONE in MMA can currently stand with Chuck Liddell (in the Light Heavy or lower).

  19. richard says:

ok i say rampage will have a chance but hey everyone has there own opioion what about this guys anderson silva vs chuck who would win and would it even be a good match?

  20. bvrasp says:

yup, i agree with you brian. About that last chuck tito fight, randy was commentating, and he knew exactly what the problem with tito was in that fight. He was trying to shoot from way too far, then he tried to stand with chuck. I dont care if your having trouble getting the takedown, SORT IT OUT, it doesnt mean forget it, just stand with chuck. When as almost a pure wrestler tito doesnt have a he made way too many mistakes in that fight..

About rampage, hes expressed that he doesnt like training, now that hes back in the states, theres alot more….. distractions for him. Its very possible for rampage to fall off, though i HOPE he can realize the kind of money and status he can reach as the champ. The UFC is getting really big, everyone knows that, rampage knows it too. He probably wont fully realize that until he catches his first loss in the UFC, that would likely push him to hit the gym with a vengence. He was DEFINATELY rusty, eastman was DEFINATELY a game fighter and he DEFINATELY needs atleast another 3-4 fights before he can beat chuck.

If he fights chuck this year, he will lose.

  21. Dennis says:

Hey guys… you did a good job analyzing this fight and you arrived at the conclusion that I’ve known all along. Chuck will nail Jackson to the mat!

Sorry Richard, I got into a bad funk during all that bickering with your *** azz.

  22. Dennis says:

As for this arguement that keeps coming up, “Rampage has fought tougher fighters, than any other 205 pounder in the UFC”….
Sorry, that just doesn’t hold any merit in my book. In saying that you are saying that if I fight and lose to Cro Cop and Fedor, I can now beat Chuck because I fought superior fighters. This is just empty rhetoric.

  23. richard says:

damn i hate to say this but me being an mma fan i have to i agree with u hillbilly liddel has beaten better guys than rampage and if u guys dont believe it i count two big wins since they last met for rampage in arona, and linland, for liddel couture twice sobral ,horn ,ortiz even though hes beaten these guys before i have to admit there better than the competition rampage has had but hillbilly i dont agree with u on who would win the rematch well just have to wait and see now dennis who do u think would win against anderson silva vs liddel

  24. bvrasp says:

richard… anderson silva vs liddell??? is that a serious question? or did you mean Wanderlei Silva?

  25. Brian says:

I’m not going to join in the Silva vs Liddell topic. Liddell would dominate and it won’t ever happen. You wanna debat about a match?? Take on the subject of Cro Cop vs Liddell. Cro Cop only like 15 pounds or less away from 205. My vote=Cro Cop. I think that COULD HAPPEN. Not until maybe next year, but it’s possible.

  26. richard says:

i do mean anderson silva hes a devestating striker two hes only 15 pounds lighter than liddel i think it would be an awesome match dont u guys and why wouldnt it happen ?Cro crop vs liddel cro crop would kill hes weakness is pressure not liddel pressure but randelman pressure

  27. Cody says:

Dennis I don’t know who you talking to. but One thing is for sure is Im a grown man, And I meant everything I said to. YOU DON’T PISS ABOUT FIGHTING. I been watching boxing before I went to elementry school. Cubans dominate boxing, Russian dominate wrestling. And by the RAMPAGE WAS BEATEN CHUCK IN DA STRIKING GAME WHEN THEY FIRST FOUGHT, LOOK AT THE FIGHT, YOU CAN MAKE EXCUSES, BUT CHUCK LOST EVEN BEFORE HE GOT BODY SLAM. And another thing I told people about who believe in human beings being invincible. I prophisied Tyson first defeat when I was younger, Roy Jones Jr, and Royce Gracie, Mark Coleman, Mark Kerr, Matt Hughes, Richard Franklin and I even believe their somebody outthere for Cro Cop and Fedor just wait the sport IS JUST 13 YEARS OLD, SO THE SPORT IS STILL EVOLVING. Who know far as boxing in 1907? Trust me I’ve done my homework!!!

  28. Cody says:

    Im not worried about you

  29. Dennis says:

    @Cody,

please bro……….go to myspace.com. That’s a good place for you to chat with other guys like you…
