    @Patrick

    Of course, I’ll have it.

  2. Dennis says:

    Just finished watching the video, and agree, Dana did good! He even made me laugh out loud a few times.

    But, I have to admit, one thing he said scares me. “Chuck wants to fight Fedor”. ooooooooooooooooooo

  3. PATRICK says:

    YO IS IT TRUE IF U PUNCH URSELF ALOT OR IF SOMEONE PUNCHES YOU OVER A PERIOD OF TIME UR CHIN GETS BETTER

  4. MAD says:

    You may not want to admit this but Fedor will beat Liddell.

  5. PATRICK says:

    MAD ANYONE CAN BEET ANYONE..
    MAN I CAN FIGURE OUT WHO IS MORE UGLY
    WANDERLEI OR FEDOR

  6. MAD says:

    Stephan Bonner can beat Liddell then? I wouldn’t say anyone can beat anyone.

  7. Dennis says:

    Com on guys, the Chuck/Fedor fight will never happen.

    However, barring any unforeseen incidents, the Chuck/Cro Cop fight will happen.

  8. PATRICK says:

    YES ANYONE CAN BEAT ANYONE

  9. Dennis says:

    ….and Bonner couldn’t beat Chuck’s meat.

  10. PATRICK says:

    YO THATS FUNNY DENNIS LOL

  11. Maxx says:

    Wow great interview. Kudos to the interviewer for actually researching his topic. I’m relieved to hear Dana’s stance on knees to the head while down. It gives me hope that some day that may get pushed through.

  12. Amir says:

    Speaking of this IFL nonsense, I’m watching it right now on FSN and it is almost unbearable. The ref is a buffoon. Ken Shamrock’s “Lions” vs. Frank Shamrock’s “RazorClaws”.

  13. Amir says:

    My predictions for UFC 68:

    Sylvia vs. Couture— SYLVIA (KO Round 3)

    Franklin vs. MacDonald– FRANKLIN (Decision)

    Hughes vs. Lytle— HUGHES (Decision)

    Sobral vs. Lambert— SOBRAL (submission Round 2)

    McFedries vs. Kampmann– McFedries (KO or TKO Round 2)

  14. bvrasp says:

    yo amir, i like the IFL, sometimes the fights can be boring, but im in toronto and my buddy trained with Carlos Newton and i talked to carlos more than once. For that reason i like to watch the IFL, almost like supporting the home team hehe.

    Too bad the Dragons suck lol except for Ivan Menjivar hes a good fighter man.. though he lost too last season. I havent liked the 2007 season so far, but who knows, its fighting, something exciting is bound to happen lol.

    I think it will be a while before we see some really well rounded out teams in IFL but i think it could grow into something good. Incredible coaches on almost every team man, how can you go wrong?

    Plus its gonna inspire alot more kids to get into mma instead of pro sports or something. Not that we want a bunch of loose cannons running around, just to increase the general mma skill level.

  15. Amir says:

    I can see how it can be a springboard for a lot of good fighters to come. Every major sport needs a “minor” or “D League” type preparatory association. It still has along way to go though.

  16. Amir says:

    Hey guys…

    I’m sure many of you here, like me, watch Inside the UFC on Thur. nights. I was curious if anybody knows the theme song that plays at the end of the show. They never put the title or artist behind it, and I want to try to find it. If not, if anybody knows how I can email Joe Rogan, since he is the producer of the show, there might be a chance he knows it.

    Thanks

  17. bvrasp says:

    sorry amir, no idea on the song, as for mailing rogan heh, might be a bit difficult, but you could check his myspace page, somebody there might be able to tell you.

  18. bvrasp says:

    hey dennis, i see you got your gravatar working, let me in on the secret bro heheh

  19. Amir says:

    I was able to send a meesage to his MySpace account. After doing a little research, I was actually surprised to see how accessible he is. He emails people back, thanks for the advice though.

  20. Dennis says:

    @BV

    Nothing I did man, besides complain. The fix was between Dr. J and Tom.

  21. bvrasp says:

    @Amir

    thats pretty cool man, are you getting in touch with Joe through the myspace? or was it some other email or something?? just out of curiosity, might be nice to have rogans email hehe

  22. bvrasp says:

    @dennis and Dr. J

    thanks dennis, you think i should bust Toms balls? heh

    Dr. J, maybe if you been talking to Tom you can hook me up too, or let me know if i should talk to him about it myself.

  23. Amir says:

    I guess “Miletich Fight Night” didn’t go as well as they expected, everyone did what they were supposed to except poor Tim and Drew that is. I’ll still say that I was not impressed by this fight card and I don’t think it was worth the $40…compared to the Pride 33. I’m happy that we have a new HW champion that exposed the weakness of what he have all been saying. I still would have loved to see Mirko vs. Sylvia

  24. Dennis says:

    @AMIR

    You gotta be kidding me right?

    Just the HW fight by itself was well worth the cash!!!

    Randy is the man!

  25. R.J. St.Croix says:

    @dennis

    your absolutely right that one fight was worth my $40. from the moment that fight started till the last bell i was jumping around and yelling at the t.v. not to many fight can make me stand up to watch but i couldnt sit down for this one. i watched the fight with my 13 year old son and he was laughing his asss off because i was going nuts. did you guys hear the crowd during the last 30 sec. the place was blowing up!!! most of the time five rounds can get boring but that was one of the best fights yet this year. its hard to take the #1 fight of the year from gomi vs. diaz but this one came close.

  26. MAD says:

    That fight was awsome. Randy is still a force in the UFC. It was great seeing Tim get dominated like that by old school Randy. To bad he has to face Crocop now I love the guy but I don’t think he will have the same luck in that fight. Rich looked really good in his fight also. McDonald didn’t seem to have any answers for his game plan. Good to see the old champ back in action. I can’t believe Babalu got KO’d like that I thought he would walk through that guy. Maybe that last KO from Chuck did something to him mentaly. Hughes didn’t look as dominant as I would have thought. Chris showed some heart in that fight. Matt should have been able to finish the fight in my opinion. The way Hughes looked he’s lucky he didn’t fight Diego. I think Diego would have beat him last night with that performance. Seeing Tim get beat up was worth the 40 alone. I’m glad he was out classed but I’m a little sad I don’t get to see Mirko pummel him. Good fights with a little bit of supprises thrown in. I wish instead of the hour or so of talking and pump up they would show the undercards like Pride does.

  27. R.J. St.Croix says:

    i think at this point we still need to see sylvia vs. cro cop because even though i dont really like sylvia you cant count him out just yet he still is one of the top guys out there in heavy weight div. maybe he can be the new “gate keeper” of the heavy weight title if you want to get to the title you should have to beat a guy like sylvia.

  28. Amir says:

    @ Dennis,

    No, I am not kidding you. The main event was good I’ll give it that, but I was not impressed by the overall card. Chris Lytle did exactly what he always does, try to survive w/o actually attacking…Franklin fought a guy that was never really tested. Why couldn’t Franklin fight Swick? I don’t remember Swick losing any fights in the UFC. THAT would have been an exciting fight. Regardless, I know Franklin and Hughes will not regain their belts so maybe when they lose, we can finally see some of the up-and-coming fighters get the shots they deserve right now. My point is that there are plenty of better fights out there that could have taken place. Franklin beat a guy that just gave up, in all my years watching the UFC I have never
    seen a guy flat out give up. What this does is give Franklin a false sense of security in thinking that he’s back, when in fact he really didn’t beat anybody special. UFC 70, now that’s gonna be a fight card!!!

  29. MAD says:

    I don’t think Rich or Matt will win their rematches either. They seem to have lost a little something and don’t look as dominant as they once did. I think it is time to let some new guy have their chances at the title. For Jason to just quit was disappointing. That’s his job and if that means going out in the third and getting KO’d so be it. He will lose a lot of fans for that one.

  30. R.J. St.Croix says:

    @dr.j

    when do you get the pay out list for the events. i’m not trying to rush you or anything i was just wondering how long after the event it take for them to get it out?

  31. Dennis says:

    I understand what you guys are saying… When you’re undefeated, you feel almost super human….and you’re confidence level alone carries you through most fights, but once you get KO’d, it just does something to you mentally.

    Most fighters that have been KO’d return somewhat “less of a man” than before. Pick any example.

    However, champions will overcome………ie; Randy Coulture.

  32. Dr J says:

    @ RJ

    The NSAC usually releases the payout info on the Monday following the event. Sometimes its as late as Tuesday. Of course, that is in Nevada so I don’t know if Ohio will follow the same way. Of course, as soon as I can get the info from the OAC I’ll post it.

  33. Big Dub says:

    This interview is weird. Never see them both on the screen at same time. I think it was someone who knew their **** asking Dana and then they slipped in the other dude asking the questions.
