Wes Sims vs Daniel Gracie

I know, I know… what else is new.

But anyways, apparently Wes Sims isn’t too pleased with his “part” in the first IFL Battleground show the other day. Sims was shown being choked out during his IFL fight with Daniel Gracie and the show let viewers to believe that Sims possibly even died.

Well, without fail, Wes popped up today on The Underground and here are a few of his “thoughts” on the issue in a post title “IFL Can Kiss my Toochas!”:

FIGHTER BEWARE!

If you attempt to fight for the IFL and in the process you die, the IFL will tell everybody.

Hey Kurt Otto, when I see you in person I will personally show you what death really means and what its like to experience it.

This one will be fr free compliments of “The Whole Show”.

Hope to see you soon buddy!

It is survey time, who do I power bomb first Garub or Kurt?

I might also add my family not knowing I was still alive was shocked to hear my voice this morning.

They are still returning phone calls to all of the “A” list fighters that have gathered together in order to throw a chairity show for me.

Frank Mir thank you for calling my dad telling him what a great guy I was and that I actually won both of the fights.

RIP Wes Sims

I will never forget the time Wes passed on all of that money to fight Bas Rutten in order to fight for free for the Ryan Bennet Chairity show.

It surprised me how much he hated it when people brought it up….

We love you Wes…

WAIT A ******* MINUTE!!!

The IFL is a HUGE company backed by two ******** idiots with money.

On their show they concluded that I was dead, I am calling my manager tomorrow to look at the contract for a life insurance policy.

If I ******* died I want my ******* money!

PAY UP YOU *****!

Pretty funn stuff, especially the part about Frank Mir calling Wes’ dad and telling him that Wes really won both there fights. Hahaha. Funny stuff. But he does have a good point about the time that he passed on a payday to fight in the Ryan Bennett Charity show. Sims and Bennett were good friends and it was a good show of class by Sims.

For those that didn’t see the Sims vs. Gracie fight you can find the video here on youtube.com

  3. MAD says:

It was a classless showing on the IFL’s part. Last Monday they showed the premier of what they call Battleground. Throughout the show the sensationalize a guy being pull out on a stretcher and Wes being choked out to the sound of a heart beat that goes to flatline like he died. It was the first time MMA was broadcast on network TV and the IFL took MMA back to human cockfighting in one night. It was a horrible showing of what MMA is really about. They made no refferance to skill or dedication just blood and myhem. They were supposedly going to show the best fights of the past year but it looked more like a highlight type show because all the fights were edited. I was never much of a fan of the IFL but I will stop supporting them after that nonsense.

Well seems that my damn computer at work wont let me get into the youtube site so can anyone enlighten me on what happend this fight or tell me if im wrong, did that guy get choked out and people thought he was dead or what? Who was the guy who did a damn swan dive in the ring too, is he part of someones team.

  5. richard says:

people thought he was dead on the show cuz as he was getting choked there was a sound of a heart beat until it stopped then it showed wes with people around and of course he aint moving cuz he didnt want to tap so he went to sleep but if ur new to the sport they made it seem like if he died but someone swan diving i dont know what ur talking about the ifl has some new fights coming up on friday and i have decided also not to watch or support the ifl in any way

  6. richard says:

alright todd i see what ur saying by swan dive no a lot of people knew he was out and they guy hesitated a little on letting go so the tried to jump on him

  7. Brian says:

What did the tatoo on Gracie’s back say?? They blured it out. Does it really say something that adult viewers watching fights can’t see?

I haven’t watched an IFL show in my life. But after hearing what you guys say about them, I don’t think I’ll EVER watch ‘em. MMA is a beautiful sport and I admire all the men who put their heart and soul into such a thing. If any orgainization disrespect that, they won’t get MY money.

  8. R.J. St.Croix says:

anyone who know me from this site will tell you i say support mma in all forms. this news makes me sad, to hear the ifl is working against what mma really is disgusting. for the first time EVER i’m going to say DO NOT watch these fights (i’m not even going to call ifl a mma show) and i’m very sorry to all the great fighters who work for ifl. i live in a place where mma shows are not allowed because the powers that be see mma as nothing more then brutality and violence that may lead to death someday and i am trying my asss off to try and find a way to change that way of thinking…..thanks a f*ck of a lot ifl, you c*ck smoking motherf*ckers! good job on not scaring off the more timid t.v. viewers who probably sh*t them selfs just because they wanted to check out something “new”. f*ck you hard ifl!!!
