Well, several of you guys have contacted me and asked for it, so the time has come.
I’ve gone ahead and setup the MMA HQ Forums (http://www.mmahq.com/forums). I appreciate all of you guys who hang out here at MMA HQ every day and fill pretty much every post I make with 100+ comments. All day long there will be several discussions going back-and-forth across several different posts.
A few of you have asked for some kind of forum to be setup to make it easier for you guys to have these discussions and keep each discussion separate and easy to respond too. For a while, I was very hesitant to setup a forum, because there are plent of other mma websites with forums out there; but, I think the time has come for an MMA HQ forum. This forum should be a benefit to you “faithful” MMA HQ guys and hopefully will stay small enough that we don’t see the problem with “trolls” and stupid topics like most of the larger MMA forums sites have.
I don’t want the forums to keep you guys from posting comments on the MMA HQ news stories though. If you have a comment about the news that was posted, please leave a comment here in the blog. If you guys want to get into a further, deeper discussion about the topics raised by the news stories, then go ahead and carry it over to the blog. You’ll have to setup a user account in the forums before you can post, but this is a one time process and eventually in a few weeks I’ll tie those forum accounts to the accounts here at the main site so you can login to the main site when you leave comments. Then you wont have to enter your info each time you leave a comment and won’t have to worry about the stupid anti-spam word stuff.
At the bottom of each news story posted you should start to see a link to the thread in the forums for that news article. That way every MMA HQ post will have a corresponding MMA HQ Forum thread so you can go back and forth quite easily.
Any questions, comments, or suggestions please let me know… You guys are the ones who make MMA HQ what it is today and I thank each and every one of you.

yeah, it seems like the emails arent being sent out at all right now. I’m looking into it. everyone that signed up so far hasn’t gotten an email. I’ll let you guys know when I get it sorted out.

Hey guys, I see TONS of you signed up for the forums yesterday but I think there was a problem with the registration emails not being sent out. I think a bunch of you might not have gotten them, but some of you did complete the registration so it appears some of you did get the emails.
Can anyone confirm if the emails are working or not?
