BJ’s skills speak for themselves.. he beat Matt, he should have gotten the decision on GSP, and he was beating the mess out of Matt in their second fight when he took broke his rib and tore a muscle under his rib, so yeah, I do think he knows how to win, I just think he is squandering his best years by not giving 100%.

I think your right, he should sweep lightweight, he is def. more suited for it, the reason he doesn’t look cut up in the welterweight division is because he carries too much water, if he dropped some, he would be at 155-160 so I think that is really where he naturally fits.

yea Kanasas, im interested to see what will become of BJ, hes got the skills, the youth and the talent, but does he have the drive to be #1?? we seen it time and time agin with guys like Karo, Overeem, recently with Diego.. They have all the tools to make it, but for some reason they just dont reach that next level like everyone thought they would.
i know what karos problem hes got penninitious thats my word for guys who got all the skills in the world but dont put 100% into there training for there fights and these guys are notorious for the statement”my opponent aint on my level” so the choose not to train hard.

Really i was a big Diego fan up until his last fight, im not saying someone cant lose a fight, but ALOT of Diegos weaknesses were pointed out in that fight. Most of all, the cerebral aspect, Kos beat him mentally in that fight. Diego wasnt able to think on his feet and change his strategy to find an answer for Kos. In terms of skill and desire, Diegos still WAY up there, but he still has ALOT to learn about the fight game. I see him falling into the backround as another Diaz or Karo soon..
With Overeem, he was seen as another unstoppable young up and comer, coming out of holland where alot of great fighters train. He trained under Bas Rutten for a while.. Had some nice wins over Igor, Vitor and i think he broke Kharitonovs arm.. Now i think hes up to like a 5 fight losing streak? lol
Some guys just fall off.. loiseau and vitor would be high up on the fell-off list too
i think he broke kharitonovs rib or something to do with his chest but i think he gave koschecks wrestling to much credit and not enough on his bjj when kos took him down then diego got his back that should of showed him hey yeah he can take me down but if he does im getting his back but i think kos must have some power in something either punches or straight up strength cuz diego didnt try to shoot once i think cuz i was getting sick of the way diego faught that fight and kos shouldnt be that proud of himself either LOVE TO SEE THE REMATCH THOUGH
I think Kos had a brilliant strategy, not an entertaining one, but that WAS the strategy. Hes thinking Diego has to come to me or else im just gonna stand here and everyone will boo. Once they start booing Diego will NEED to move forward to make his fans happy. Thats when Kos started moving back and circling just to avoid Diego, then Diego got pissed and started moving forward blindly, then Kos started countering him. Now Diegos all frustrated and doesnt know what to do so he waits for Kos, but Kos just stands there and smiles at him, the crowd starts booing so Diego moves forward again. He gets countered again, now hes really frustrated, now Koscheck starts getting his shots off first after the dodge while Diego is still resetting. So Diegos just pissed, confused, frustrated and he doesnt know what to do because everything hes done has backfired on him. So he just stands there then Kos starts landing big on Diego.. he threw him totally off his game, he defeated him mentally and the physical soon followed.
Id like to see a rematch, but if Diego doesnt get his mind right, he doesnt stand a chance.. with ANYONE, let alone Kos, because now everyone saw that hole in his game.. its a hole in his head..
