Over the past week, the status of the upcoming Cage Fury Fighting Championship event in New Jersey has been up in the air.
Earlier in the week reports surfaced that the event had been canceled only to find out later that the event was still on and just the In-Demand PPV contract had been canceled. Felix Martinez, president of CFFC, assured fans that the event was still scheduled to take place, but the PPV deal had fallen through due to a large investor suddenly pulling out of show.
MMA fans rejoiced as they though the Kimbo Slice vs Tank Abbott main even would still take place October 12th in Atlantic City.
Well, today Felix Martinez officially announced that the whole event has been canceled. Sorry, Kimbo fans… You’ll have to wait a little while longer to see your “street champion” fight again.

Kimbo is junk. He’s to old to make a real effort to compete with real MMA fighters. Ray Mercer is not even a real opponent in his first fight. I think even Tank would have taken him. I can’t see him doing MMA much longer someone with real talent will expose him.
I TOTALY AGREE MAD..
ya well, he might not be a martial artist, but id hate to run into him in a back alley LOL. Thats why it was a good matchup, because Tank isnt a martial artist either, and hes over the hill too hehe. Its a shame, that would have been a nice scrap to watch, two streefighters going at it. Hakoden!
@DOC
