    Hey Doc,

Is there any way to watch the weigh-ins after they are over? I get so furious every time I miss the weigh-ins since I’m busy at work and then search the whole internet to trying and find them.

Amir, you can always rewatch the weigh-ins at UFC.com. They usually leave them up for at least a few days.

  4. Amir says:

Ok…so I saw the whole thing, I was hoping for some kind of fireworks but everyone seemed very joyful and friendly for some reason. What happened to the good ole’ days of the UFC when fighters had genuine hatred for one another and actually wanted to hurt the guy because of it? it just made things so much more exciting. I thought “Ace” was going to actually kiss Silva by the way he hugged him.

  5. bvrasp says:

lol Amir, just wait till UFC 79, Chuck and Wandy, then Hughes and Serra, ya there will be some bad blood and definately some serious staredowns.

  6. Amir says:

Good point man, thank G-d for Wandi, here’s a guy that will finally bring some real aggression into the cage and give us a 100% every time.

  7. MMAKansas says:

A breakdown of possible confrontation between Rashad and Wandy is in my opinion a bit of a snoozer, either its a first round knockout or Rashad mimics Tito with take downs and running for his life which produces a boring hump-fest decision … no i don’t want to see this fight, it would be boring… Bisping wont get past Rashad I don’t think, Rashad is more powerful and I think this fight could lead to a snoozer as well, def. not main card material for a headliner… if Bisping won against Rashad somehow, now Bisping vs Wand, lol that would be something, like an axe murderer ripping apart his prey… lol Bisping wouldn’t survive that fight… Rashad I think is a bit tougher and stronger .. just my random thoughts, sorry guys if it sounds monotonous ..

  8. Amir says:

So, were in the history books again…no spectacular announcements as were promised all over the internet, another demolition of a former champion (like predicted), and yet another snooze fest by Tim Sylvia and a surprisingly dissapointing Vera. Can someone tell me why Brandon Vera was the only losing fighter to get an interview with Joe Rogan after the fight? I mean I know the answer, but it kind of pisses me off that they would give a guy more recognition just because of his “marketability” even though he fought a ****** fight and showed none of the aggressiveness that he promised he would exhibit.

  9. MMAKansas says:

    slipped there Amir… sorry

Hey man I agree… Brandon should have gone home without his mouth SHUT cause he STUNK the auditorium up and Tim looked really good at the end of the last round…

I cleaned up on Playground betting the house on Tim… I also got the points.. guessed it on the nose, Tim wins by decision… my buddy Josh was like.. who cares if he wins all the time if he wins like THAT… no marketability and people booing him from start to finished… Minituro will clean his clock I think… we will see I guess…

I am happy for Tim… points again on Silva beating Franklin… no upset or big surprise there.. only question is WHO IS NEXT IN LINE FOR SILVA because I don’t see the talent available in the UFC.. can anyone say HENDERSON needs to drop down and defend that OTHER belt… lol

  10. MMAKansas says:

    Big question:

WHAT IS NEXT FOR RICH FRANKLIN?

I think he will lay low for a year or around that time… then will jump in on a low level under card fight and try to regain some popularity over a 3-4 fight stint… eventually challenging again… hopefully against Henderson .. if no Henderson he could find himself in a 4-6 fight stint hoping that Silva steps aside or gets beaten by some act of God and he gets a jump in on a different opponent because he WONT beat Silva… either that or scenario two is that he loses his contract all together or takes a HUGE loss in pay to stay in the division for a wait out…

    YES YES YES

    BROCK LESNAR!!!

Start hating haters, I’m telling you this, Brock Lesnar will be the UFC Heavyweight Champion by 2009. Mark it down, go to Vegas and put money on it, it will happen. I’m one of the rare few who actually seen Lesnar wrestle in college. He’s a monster. Wrestlers never lose their skills.

Think Kos…only much bigger. When Kos learned how to throw a punch, he eventually became a ranked Welterweight in the eyes of most folks. Lesnar will travel the same path.

    BROCK LESNAR!!!!

    BROCK LESNAR!!!![/quote]

It is exciting but only from an entertainment perspective. We’ll see how Lesnar reacts to being punched in the face really hard for the very first time. His first MMA bout was a joke.

  13. bvrasp says:

What bugged me about Lesnar was how hes been bad mouthing Tim Sylvia, i mean, hes saying he wants a challenge or something and Tim is not a guy who would challenge him. You better do something in the sport before you go around saying dumb sht like that. Hes coming from wrestling, so you can expect him to have a big mouth, but in wrestling its all a big joke, you start calling guys out in mma, its not a joke its serious.

Personally i dont think he should get a chance to fight Tim any time soon, unless Tim goes on a big losing streak. Match Lesnar up with someone less experienced, hmm now that i think about it.. how bout Vera? He will definately be a good test for Brock in the standup game, then when Brock works his wrestling, we will see how it stands up to Brandons BJJ.
